Live in the life God wants for you - Psalms 118:24, 2 Corinthians 5:4-9
Psalm 118:24
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
2 Corinthians 5:4-9
4 For we that are in this tabernacle (the tent) do groan (in distress), being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality (the mortal thing) might be swallowed up (to drink down) of (by) (the) life.
5 Now he that hath wrought (effected, achieved) us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident (good courage, be full o faith and hope), knowing that, whilst we are at home (to be amongst one's people) in the body, we are absent (to be away from one's people) from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight (what is actually seen):)
8 We are confident (be full of faith), I say, and willing rather to be absent (to be away from one's people) from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent (to be away from one's people), we may be accepted (well pleasing) of him.
