9 Let love be without dissimulation (unfeigned, without hypocrisy). Abhor that which is (the) evil; cleave (cleaving to the good) to that which is good.
10 Be kindly affectioned (like a family) one to another with brotherly love (love for the brethren); in honour preferring one another (in every honorable matter leading one another on);
11 Not slothful (slow, tardy) in business (serious purpose); fervent (boiling hot) in (resting within) spirit (spiritual character manifested in your actions); serving the Lord;
12 Rejoicing in hope (the hope: the expectation of future good); patient in tribulation; continuing instant (steadfastly with reverence) in prayer;
