By grace are you saved, enjoy this beautiful life - Ephesians 2:1-8
Ephesians 2:1-8
And you hath he quickened, who were dead (state of death) in (by) trespasses and sins;
Wherein (in which) in time past (once) ye walked according to the course (the age) of this world (kosmos: the arrangement), according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit (devil spirit) that now worketh (is working) in (resting within) the children (child by natural descent) of disobedience (the disobedience):
Among whom also we all had our conversation (to turn oneself, conduct oneself) in times past in the lusts (unlawful, sinful desire) of our flesh (fleshly nature), fulfilling the desires of the flesh (fleshly nature) and of the mind; and were by nature (origin) the children (native character) of wrath (anger with desire to revenge) , even as others (those who are left).
But God, who is rich in (remaining within) mercy (active nature), for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened (made us alive) us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together (in conjunction with), and made us sit (down) together in (remaining within) heavenly places (the heavenliness) in (remaining within) Christ Jesus:
That (in order that) in (remaining within) the ages to come he might shew the exceeding (surpassing, excel) riches (wealth) of his grace in his kindness toward (remaining within) us through (remaining within) Christ Jesus.
For by grace are ye saved through (the dividing line) faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
