Walk or set your course of life in the Light - Ephesians 5:3-16
Ephesians 5:8-13
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once (not even) named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting (rivalry, obscene language), which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
For this ye know, that no whoremonger (fornicator) , nor unclean person, nor covetous (avaricious: greedy of gain) man, who (which) is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Let no man deceive you with vain (hallow) words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children (sons) of (the) disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes (once) darkness (the darkness of blindness), but now are ye light (not in the light be received the Light) in the Lord (the Christ): walk (course of life) as children (sons) of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit (light) is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
Proving (to approve by trial) what is acceptable (well pleasing) unto the Lord.
And have no fellowship (partnership) with the unfruitful works of darkness (the darkness), but rather reprove (convict) them.
For it is a shame (hence, indecent) even to speak of those things which are done (being done) of them in secret.
But all things that are reproved (convicted) are made manifest (made apparent, show openly) by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest (made apparent, show openly) is light.
But all things that are reproved (convicted) are made manifest (make apparent, show openly) by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest (made apparent) is light.
Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
See then that ye walk circumspectly (precisely, accurately), not as fools, but as wise,
Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
