Follow the spirit – Galatians 5:13-18
Galatians 5:13-18
13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty (the freedom to go where one wants); only use not liberty for an occasion (opportunity) to the flesh (carnal nature), but by (through) love serve (do service) one another.
14 For all the law is fulfilled (accomplished) in one word, even in (remaining) this; Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16 This I say then, Walk in (by) the Spirit (new spiritual nature), and ye shall not fulfil (to make a full end) the lust (sinful desire) of the flesh (carnal nature).
17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit (new spiritual nature), and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary (lie in opposition) the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under (beneath) the law.
