[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:24] Be joyful. Be joyous. If you can change your mind, clear out all the other stuff I was reading this morning. In John, chapter 16, verse 32, it says, Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every one to his own, and shall leave me alone. And yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
[00:00:49] Christ had God.
[00:00:51] You have God. Many believe in the name of Jesus Christ. You're righteous. You're of the kingdom, the kingdom of.
[00:00:59] Of God. You're part of the household of God. You have sonship and God is with you.
[00:01:06] Before, in the Old Testament, before Christ died and was risen, there wasn't an opportunity. The Spirit wasn't in you. It was a pawn. It could be taken away at any time.
[00:01:18] The moment you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, in this new administration, it can't be.
[00:01:24] Therefore, you're. You always have God with you, always.
[00:01:27] In every situation.
[00:01:30] You jump to Psalms chapter 62. This is just. I always love this because David really believed.
[00:01:38] David was strong in faith and. Or in believing and.
[00:01:43] And some. He went through a lot of stuff. A lot of stuff. Did some stuff that was bad, got punished for it.
[00:01:51] Psalm 62.
[00:01:52] Truly my soul waiteth upon God. From him cometh my salvation and my safety and my preservation.
[00:02:01] Where does your safety come from? Does it come from money? Does it come from having a stack of money in the bank account?
[00:02:07] Does it come from where you live? Does it come from your friends?
[00:02:11] Because his. His.
[00:02:14] His came from God.
[00:02:16] His safety came from God.
[00:02:19] And if you're not there in your mind, you have to renew your mind, renovate. Your thoughts change.
[00:02:25] It's not about what they're doing, right? It's not that David did this, and I can't. You have to change your mind to get to the point where your safety does come from God.
[00:02:35] Your reliance does come from God.
[00:02:38] It's not just your reading about it.
[00:02:40] That's when the. That's when this stuff starts working in you.
[00:02:44] Truly, my soul waiteth upon God, for from him cometh my safety and my salvation.
[00:02:50] Truly he is my rock in my salvation and rock is a symbol of firmness.
[00:02:56] He is my. He is the firmness. He's my. He's the ground I can stand on.
[00:03:01] Truly. He is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not be greatly moved. Now what I love about this is greatly moved. It's not he gay, everybody wobble.
[00:03:13] But greatly moved.
[00:03:15] If you jump down to verse five. My soul, wait thou. And this is wait in silence. Wait thou in silence only upon God. For my expectation is from him. And I love this verse.
[00:03:30] My expectation is from Him. The day of expecting.
[00:03:36] I expect God to take care of me.
[00:03:40] I expect God to grow our business.
[00:03:43] I expect God to continually work with me and to show me how to become a better person.
[00:03:49] My expectation comes from God and it comes from him and His Word.
[00:03:54] The Word is. It just changes you the more you put it and apply it in your life and you start to clean out all the garbage. I can't tell you how much this thing I've been doing of just removing everything to make room for the Word again, make room in your life.
[00:04:12] It becomes a firmness. It becomes the things that stabilizes you. I know things are going to happen. Because my expectation comes from God.
[00:04:22] You have the ability to have a relationship with God. Now meet him where he is.
[00:04:28] Verse 7.
[00:04:30] Where is it? Verse 7. Now verse 6. Truly only he is my rock and my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not be moved in God or upon. God is my salvation and my glory.
[00:04:45] The rock of my strength and my refuge is in God. Confide or trust in him at all times. Ye people. Pour out your heart before and pour out what you're thinking about.
[00:04:59] Prayers of repetition. Don't go anywhere. It's every day. Let him know what is going on in your life. How can he help you?
[00:05:08] Maybe you just want him to show you how to help.
[00:05:11] Maybe things are so good that you just want to thank him and that you're very, very blessed to have him as your Father.
[00:05:19] I don't think in the Old Testament there is any place where they refer to God as their Father. Anywhere.
[00:05:26] And yet he tells us to call him that because you're His Son.
[00:05:31] Loved, beloved.
[00:05:34] It's a wonderful place to be. I'm going to finish up with this. If you jump down to 10. Trust not in oppression and become not vain in robbery. If riches increase, set not your heart upon them. God hath spoken once, twice have I heard this. That power belongeth to to God.
[00:05:52] Isn't that the truth?
[00:05:54] Power belongeth to God. Authority belongs to God.
[00:06:00] This world is not our home. We're just a passing through. This is but for a moment.
[00:06:05] Enjoy that moment.
[00:06:07] Have a phenomenal day today. Pray the big prayers, pray the small prayers. But when you pray, always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:35] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I pray for my hip and my back that you just get this thing back to normal, that I can move freely. I thank you for again for my brother's hand that you get that all sorted out so that it is properly functioning. I thank you again for the business that you continually grow that for sales, that you continually turn that on, and always for my golf game that it gets better. I thank you again for the moments of my life and the people that you've surrounded me with. I thank you for opening my mind back up and helping me get back to the point where I'm. I'm reading again. And yeah, I just thank you for each and every moment that you've provided us. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
