[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today.
[00:00:10] Today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of grace. Praise him. Thank him.
[00:00:24] So I don't know if it was because I was working so hard before this trip or if this trip had an effect. I mean, it's just so str right now because I don't have that, like, fire to do things. And I don't know if I'm in that recovery mode or what it is, but I've been crying out to God, like, you gotta kinda get me back.
[00:00:43] Get me back fired up, get me back going again.
[00:00:47] And I've been reading and, like, listening to stuff, and it's helping, but I always find that, like, going to the word or listening to word, or hearing the word and clearing your mind of all the other things is the way it starts to work with me. It takes me a little bit to get going, but yeah, I don't know, man. It's just funny how life comes at you. I was reading in Proverbs this morning and I'm just gonna go through a couple verses. The funny thing is when I love proverbs because they're little golden nuggets, they're things you can kind of wrap your mind around. It's short. It's not some long story. It's short, it's quick, it's decisive.
[00:01:28] And when you start to follow these things and change your minds and renovate your thoughts to what the Word says about certain situations, you know that you're walking rightly. I wanted to actually start in Nehemiah because I was listening to this today and it was talking about, like, what they went through, the people in the. In the Old Testament when they. When they were moved out of Egypt and they were going into the promised land.
[00:01:52] Well, actually in the wilderness. Never got to the promised land. But it just talks about how patient God is.
[00:01:58] And if you jump to like this kind of go, this is a very short account of what happened. But if you go to chapter nine, verse five, it says, stand up and bless the Lord your God forever and ever. And blessed be thy glorious name, which is exalted above all blessings and praise Thou even thou art Lord alone. Thou has made the heaven and the heaven of heavens with all their host, the Earth and all the things that are therein, the seas and all that is therein. And thou preservest them, and the host of heaven worship thee.
[00:02:33] Everything God created, he created the heavens and the earth, he created the seas, the sky, the air, the birds, everything in it. And he sustains and he takes care of those things. Will he not take care of you?
[00:02:48] If you jump down to verse 17, it talks about how they refuse to obey. Neither, I mean, they actually make.
[00:02:55] One thing God talks about is like, don't. Don't like idolatry.
[00:02:59] Stay focused on him. Don't put other things in place of God.
[00:03:05] And they were so dismissive of God. They were so in rebellion of God. They made a golden calf to represent God, the God that got them out of Egypt after God said, don't do it.
[00:03:17] They even put together a guy to bring them back into captivity.
[00:03:21] They hired a captain to bring them back into captivity. I mean, they were a rebellious nation.
[00:03:27] And yet if you jump down to verse 17 and refused to obey, neither were they mindful of thy wonders. And thou didst among them, but hardened their necks and in their rebellion appointed a captain to return to their bondage. But thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger or patient, and of great kindness, and forsookest them not.
[00:03:52] You're not going to do anything worse than those children did. Period. Like, not happening.
[00:03:58] And yet God was ready to pardon. He's quick. He's slow to anger. Sometimes I think about how slow God actually is to anger. For some reason in my mind, I think, oh, God's going to get upset really quickly. It's not the case. He's slow to anger. He tells us to be slow to anger. But anyways, I want to jump over to. I don't even know how I got onto that, but I want to jump over to Proverbs 10. It says the Proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father, but a foolish son is heaviness of his mother.
[00:04:26] Treasures of wickedness, profit, nothing but righteousness delivereth from death. It's not going to be money that gets you out of stuff. It's God. It's believing. It's uprightness. And you're upright the minute you believe. In the name of Jesus Christ. The Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish, but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.
[00:04:47] He that becometh slack, or he that becometh poor, that dealeth with a slack hand or a deceitful hand, but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. And I love this too because. Because diligent is having the quality of cutting or separating the superficial.
[00:05:05] When you can separate the things in life that are nonsense and stay focused on the things that actually matter.
[00:05:12] That's what it is to be diligent in something.
[00:05:15] And when you're diligent towards God's word and you're diligent in life, God's going to take care of you. You have God behind you. You have God for you. He's slow to anger.
[00:05:27] He's not there to get you. He's there to protect. He's there to build you up. He's there to bring you to a life that is made manifest or made visible through the spiritual course of life that you choose. You have to put on the Word. It will change your thinking, it'll change life.
[00:05:46] We have a good God, a gracious God, a loving God, actively compassionate, which I love. Anyways, pray the big prayers today. Pray the small prayers. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. Christ. You pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. [00:06:17] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today that it's a blessed day. I ask you for just guidance that I can get this, this project done. I want this thing off my plate. I also pray for the guys that they have the right direction and that we continue to move forward and produce product that people not only want but also that keeps everybody busy. I thank you for the moments again in my life and that you kind of heal my back that I can get out and golf more because it's bothering me that I hurts. And I just thank you again for the moments. I pray for my brother and sister in law that you take care of them and bless them. And also for tonight that I don't lose my mind going to soccer practice playing Uncle Lift up A great day to you.
