Hebrews 6:1-2

6 Therefore leaving (having left) the principles of the doctrine (word) of Christ (the messiah), let us go on (be born along) unto perfection (completeness or perfectness; that which has reached its full end); not laying again the foundation of repentance (a change of mind from sin itself to spiritual) from dead works, and of faith toward God,

² Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

Hebrews 6:17-19

¹⁷ Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability (unchangeableness) of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

¹⁸ That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in (remaining within) which it was (is) impossible for God to lie, we might (may) have a strong consolation (a summoning to one’s side), who have fled (fled) for refuge (shelter or protection) to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

¹⁹ Which hope we have as an anchor (that which gives stability and security; thrown to rest a ship) of the soul, both sure and stedfast (firm and steady), and which entereth into that within the veil;
