Look for the coming of the Lord – 2 Peter 3:11-14, 2 Peter 1:2

2 Peter 3:11-14

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking (Be in expectation) for and hasting (yes, earnestly looking for) unto the coming of the day of God, wherein (on account of which) the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements (elementary rules) shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

14 Wherefore (on account of which)(, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot (spotless), and blameless (not open to censure or adverse criticism).

2 Peter 1:2

Grace (God’s loving disposition) and peace (undisturbed state of wellbeing) be multiplied (make you full) unto you through (through the instrument) the knowledge (Having a true and personal relation with the object and heeding it’s advice) of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
