[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in and rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank Him.
[00:00:23] So if you've been listening, you know that I have been going through it. I have been trying to clear my mind of all the nonsense, trying to clear my mind of the things that I've been thinking about for the last month or two.
[00:00:38] Clean it out so that I can make room for God. I can make room for His Word.
[00:00:44] And this morning, I heard this a couple days ago. But if you go to First Corinthians, chapter 5, verse 6, it says, your glory or your boasting is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven.
[00:00:54] Leaveneth the whole lump?
[00:00:56] This has to do for those of you who are bakers and make bread.
[00:01:00] It takes a little starter, a tiny little starter to make the bread.
[00:01:07] And it's the same thing in your life. The same thing. The things. It only takes a little bit of something. Now, in my case, I've been dumping it on, but it only takes a little bit of something.
[00:01:18] And God talks about how it's His Word that we need to rely on.
[00:01:24] If you're feeling lost, I mean, I just. It's. It's. It's hard for me to explain, right? It's not hard, but I was so consumed by the world, by fear, by riches, by just everything that chokes the Word out. I was so consumed that it's almost like I'm pulling all this stuff out in order to get back to where I. I'm just thinking on the right things. And I'll go through this, and you go through this as a believer where you're tested. It might be your kids. Based on what I just dealt with, it could be your kids taking them to soccer practice, taking them to this, taking to that, you know, school, feeding them. No, it's.
[00:02:07] It can be anything that starts to consume. And then you get into this place where you're kind of spiraling out. You're.
[00:02:15] There's. You're thinking of a lot of things, but there's no peace.
[00:02:19] And God is peace, man. God's word is spiritual. We wrestle not against flesh and bones. We wrestle against principalities and spiritual things. The Word is spiritual.
[00:02:32] The Word is The only offensive weapon to cut through everything.
[00:02:38] You got to make time in your life. If you're struggling right now, you have to make time in your life and you have to figure out how to get to the point where. Where you read, where you start to put this stuff in. Like, I've actually had to start to listening to teachings just to. Just to get. Just to get filled with something new. So it's not on me.
[00:02:57] You got to find these things and you got to work it. You got to read it, you got to start to allow it and clear out. The number one priority is God's word. It's not all the other things.
[00:03:09] If you go To Deuteronomy chapter 8, this is when he was bringing them through the wilderness, the children of Israel. Actually, I'll do chapter verse 2. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these 40 years in the wilderness to humble thee and to prove thee, and to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments or no. And he humbled thee, and he suffered thee to hunger, and he fed thee with manna which thou knewest not. Neither did thy fathers know that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread alone only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live.
[00:03:49] If you're not hearing the Word, if you're not working the Word, if you're not reading the Word, how do you expect to live?
[00:03:58] And it's living more than abundantly. It's not living a life, a carnal life in the sense of a plant or a dog or something that just is there, exists, dies, is gone.
[00:04:09] God has a life for you that is more than abundant, and it's more than just bread. It's more than just your. Than your house. It's more than what you're eating. It's more than what you are accumulating. It's more than the relationships you have.
[00:04:25] It's about God.
[00:04:27] And if you don't have God's Word around you, reading it, understanding it, because it takes time when you read the Word to get an understanding of it. It's not easy, especially the King James. And I suggest you read the King James, the new international version, all those versions that make it easier. They don't. It's not the. It's not.
[00:04:46] It's not specific.
[00:04:48] It doesn't show where they add words. They subtract words, like the King James does.
[00:04:55] It's the word that's going to work on you.
[00:04:58] I'm going to finish up with this. If you go to Proverb, of course, it's a little bit long, but if you go to Proverbs, chapter three, verse three, it says, let not mercy or loving kindness and truth forsake thee. Bind them about thy neck. Write them upon the table of thine heart. The other thing I wanted to say is that God is full of loving kindness and it's not about your acts. And if you're filled with all about your acts or condemning yourself, it's not about that. We don't live in that type of, that type of existence that Christ died for that God sent his only begotten Son in order to do that for us, in order we can live spiritually different than what the children of Israel had to deal with.
[00:05:43] So shalt thou find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
[00:05:48] Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. And it's trust or confide.
[00:05:53] Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not unto thine own understanding, thine own discernment in all thy ways. Recognize or acknowledge him, and he shall rightly divide thy path, not wrongly rightly divided.
[00:06:11] And it's, I don't mean to go through my experience, but it helps, it helps me knowing that the Word, having the Word and cleaning everything out. I'm starting to get back to myself, which is trusting in God, reading the Word with understanding, reading it, where I'm actually consuming it, having a, having a hunger for it and getting out of all the other stuff that's been dumping in my mind.
[00:06:38] You choose what you live, like how you live. You choose. It's your choice what you're putting in. It's you, you're, you're choosing what you're thinking about.
[00:06:48] You have to choose the Word. It'll change your life.
[00:06:53] Have a phenomenal day today. Pray the big prayers. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a great day today. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:07:21] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I'm very thankful to be off work and to get go about to go golf and, and I thank you for this beautiful fall weather. I, I, I pray for a great day. I thank you for getting me back on track. Just even though it's been a, a process and I know that it's not done yet, I thank you for your word and just for all your believers out there that you take care of them and bless them. And I thank you for again getting my mind right. I pray for my brother, his hand that you get that thing back going again. And I'm very, very thankful they're home. And I just pray for a great day today. I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
