[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos and this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:23] Today might be a little bit longer. I.
[00:00:25] I wanted to go over this. I've been.
[00:00:28] When I got back from Italy, I thought that I would be refreshed. And actually the opposite happened.
[00:00:34] My mind has been so filled with all these other things that it's like I have no room for the Word. And I was talking to a believer who brought this up to me, which is the parable of the Sower. And it just. It's just working on me. It's amazing how the Word will work on you. You hear a verse and slowly but surely that thing like. It's like chipping away at my mind, and I can't stop thinking about it. So I'm going to go into this. If you go to Matthew, chapter 13, verse 3, and it says, and he spake many things unto them, parable saying, behold, a sower went forth to sow. And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the wayside, and the fowls of the birds came and devoured them up. Some fell upon stony places where they had not much earth, and forthwith they sprung up because they had no deepness of earth. And when the sun was up, they were scorched. And because they had no root, they withered away. And some fell on. And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprung up and choked them. But others fell on good ground and brought forth fruit, some a hundredfold, some sixtyfold, and some thirty fold. So there's a couple things in here that I want to go over, but, yeah, I'm going to keep going. If you go down to verse 18, it says, Hear ye, therefore, the parable of the Sower. When anyone heareth the word of the kingdom and understandeth it not, when cometh the wicked one and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which receiveth by the wayside.
[00:02:02] For those people that don't understand the Word, most people learn the Word through theology, not the actual Bible, not what it actually says.
[00:02:13] It's what people think about the Word.
[00:02:16] The more you start reading this stuff, the more it starts taking root.
[00:02:20] And Christ talks about all this verse 20 but he that receiveth the seed into the stony places, the same as he that heareth the Word and immediately with joy receiveth it. Yet he hath no root in himself, but endureth for a while. For when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the Word, by and by, or immediately he is offended or he stumbles.
[00:02:44] This is for those people who hear the Word and are hot. If you think about, like, seeds landing on rocks, rocks are hot. So they're going to. The plants are going to immediately grow, but they're not growing in this solid dirt.
[00:02:57] So when anything comes up that is going to easily be ripped out.
[00:03:02] And that's the thing. Like, when you hear this stuff, marinate in it. Take the time in it, because the more you read it, the more you have right teaching and right understanding, the more it takes root, and it won't go away when real struggle comes up. But I wanted to go over this because this is what I realize I've been going through. He also that receiveth seed among the thorns is he that heareth the Word. And the care of the world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful.
[00:03:34] Now, when I got back from Italy, what's going on is that last November, we were working on our warehouse to build out a gym for us and our employees so that everybody could work out. And that was a lot of work. Then January came, and my brother got hurt, and everything that was going on all of a sudden changed because we live in a. We have a very physical business, and when my brother can't use his hand, it changes everything.
[00:04:03] So it's been, go, go, go, go, go. Now, in June and July, my mind started going on to this AI thing, how we needed to start incorporating this into our business, because you can kind of see the landscape of what's about to go down.
[00:04:15] So my mind is racing, racing, racing, racing. And somehow it gets on the algorithm and, like, Instagram and Facebook, and now I'm just flooded by it. So my whole world is consumed by. By us getting ahead to the point where when stuff does change, we're okay. It's trusting in riches, essentially.
[00:04:36] And my mind is so consumed and has been so consumed with this stuff that when I sit down and read the word, I can't. There's no room.
[00:04:45] There's nothing in there that's gonna allow my mind to consume.
[00:04:51] And it's been a realization to me. Like, it's almost like I've been sitting down lately and just asking God to To clear it out, clear out my mind so that I can start to get back to the word. Get back to what the truth is, where you focus, where you put your. Your riches, where. Well, you know what, I'll go over it really quick. If you jump over to Matthew chapter six, and this is in verse.
[00:05:19] Well, you know, I'll do 19. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. The light of the body is the eye. If therefore thine eye be single or clear, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. And if therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness? No one or no man can serve two masters. For he will either hate the one and love the other, or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon or riches.
[00:06:10] And that verse is. It's hitting.
[00:06:14] You either trust in God or you trust in the five senses.
[00:06:19] Where are you focused and where is your mind? Where is your eye?
[00:06:23] What are you bringing in? What are you facing?
[00:06:27] And if you're going through it like I am, sometimes I think I go through this stuff. It's amazing because I did a teaching yesterday and a lot of people are going through the same thing.
[00:06:37] You got to get back to the Word.
[00:06:39] The Word, the Word, the Word, the Word. You got to have enough room in your mind and not be filled with all the cares of the world in order to receive that Word.
[00:06:50] God will take care of each and every situation in your life, including the future. We're not even to think about the future. Sufficient is the evil thereof. Today, pray the big prayers. Today pray the small prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Have a beautiful day today. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:07:26] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I pray for my brother and sister in law. They get home and the flights are great and they get home on time so we're not up late.
[00:07:36] I thank you again for the moments of my life. I thank you for your word and how gracious you are and how much, how full of loving kindness you are and how you take care of us. I pray that you continually work with me and just get me back in it and it's not too painful. Father, I also thank you for your believers out there, that you take care of them just for everything that's going on in general, that you take care of your people. And I'm very grateful that we can lean on you and for your son and what he did for us. I thank you for your word and that we can continually go to it, and that you reconnected us. Father, I just thank you for a great day today, and I lift it all up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
