Stay focused on what’s important – Proverbs 12:10-14, Proverbs 12:1

Proverbs 12:10-14

¹⁰ A righteous man regardeth (to know properly) the life (soul) of his beast: but the tender mercies (compassion) of the wicked (lawless one’s) are cruel (terrible).

¹¹ He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied (filled with satisfaction) with bread: but he that followeth (run after) vain (empty or worthless) persons is void of understanding (understanding).

¹² The wicked (evil one’s) desireth the net (fig: for what is caught in it) of evil men (of which use evil men): but the root of the righteous yieldeth (giveth to other’s instead of taking them as prey) fruit.

¹³ The wicked (evil men) is snared (trap or hook) by the transgression (revolt or rebellion) of his lips (fig: for that which is spoken by them): but the just shall come out of trouble.

¹⁴ A man (Godly man) shall be satisfied (be filled to satisfaction, have plenty) with good by the fruit (produce) of (according to) his mouth: and the recompence (benefit, reward) of a man’s (Adam – carnal man) hands shall be rendered (rendered back) unto him.

Proverbs 12:1

12 Whoso loveth instruction (discipline, correction) loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish (concretely stupid).
