We dwell in God’s love by believing – 2 Timothy 1:7, 1 John 4:16, 1 John 4:11-15, 1 John 4:16-18

2 Timothy 1:7

⁷ For God hath not given us the spirit of fear (cowardice); but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

1 John 4:16

¹⁶ And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

1 John 4:11-15

¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

¹² No man (one) hath seen (beheld) God at any time. If (future, on possible condition or contingent on circumstances) we love one another, God dwelleth in (remaining within) us, and his love is perfected (made perfected) in us.

¹³ Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

¹⁴ And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

¹⁵ Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
