[00:00:03] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:07] Speaker B: Today and I hope you are excited.
[00:00:09] Speaker A: Today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him and be joyous. I woke up today and I just kind of, you know, when you start reading a lot, you're gonna go through waves of, you know, being really into it and really not. And today I woke up and it was just like, I can't get my mind to start triggering and firing. So I'm gonna go over something I talked about yesterday, which is the.
What the word of God is. Because it is a discerner of your thoughts. And it will work in you to change your mind and to change your attitude, but you gotta choose to believe it. And actually, you know, I'm gonna start off with this if Hebrews chapter. Let's do chapter four, verse two. It says, for unto us was the gospel preached as that as well as unto them. But the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with the faith or believing in them that heard it. It talks about this like when you. When you listen and hear the Word, you have to believe. And you can either. When you hear the Word, you can either get hardened or you can get soft. We are to get soft like wax where your heart melts when you hear the Word. You have to mix hearing the Word with believing. Having faith to believe what you hear from God, having a firm reliance on it. You can't walk through life not relying on the Word. You can hear it, but if you don't apply it, if you don't believe, it's not going to cause the effect that it should.
God's word is spiritual. God's word will change you. Verse 3. For we which have believe, and this is absolute believe, do enter into rest, as he said, I have sworn in my wrath if they shall enter into my rest.
Once you rest, once you. Once you have belief, you get to a state where you can rest because you believe that God's going to take care of everything. You go out, you work, you got to work in life. You got to do your thing. But there is a rest from fear. There is a rest for striving after the wind, for nothingness. You become content with what God tells you to become content with. There Is nothing better than to eat and to drink and to enjoy the good of your labor. It is a gift of God. If you don't believe that, if you don't rest your mind on that, then you allow your mind to take control and you think, oh, well there, you know, when I get this, or when I achieve this, or when I do this, that's what's really going to cause me to feel good about myself. That's not how it goes. You have to rest from your thoughts and you got to start to listen to what the Word says. If you jump down to verse 12 and this is why this is so wonderful. For the spoken word of God is living.
This stuff lives. And when you read it a lot, it'll start to hit you. You'll know exactly what this, what this verse is talking about because it's living and it's breathing and it's working with you so specifically in your life with the things that you're dealing with. For the Word of God. The spoken word of God is living and powerful and effectual in operation and sharper above any two edged sword passing through even the act of dividing of the soul and of the spirit. You can be spiritually off, you can be mentally off, but the spoken word of God cuts through, it divides. Again, verse 12. For the spoken word of God is living and powerful and sharper above any two edged sword passing through the act dividing of the soul and the spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner. This is skilled in judging of the thoughts. This is your secret motives or the emotional revolving of the mind and the intents of the heart. This is what's in the mind. It knows your secret motives, it knows your emotional side of your thoughts. It also knows what is in the mind.
It knows the seat of your distinctive character. The things you think about make you you.
The spoken word of God works with you and your heart. What makes you you. The intents of your heart, it will shape you. That's why you got to read this stuff. That's why you got to believe this stuff. Neither is there any creature that is not made visible in his sight, but all things are naked and open unto him. With whom is our account.
God is with you. God knows you. And when you read the Word, he will work with you in the Word to change your thoughts, to make you see what is good and loving and kind and joyous. All the things of God.
This Word will bring you that grace which is that loving disposition and the state of peace which is will make you full. What fills you up is a state of peace and that loving disposition. And it's all through the instrument of getting to know God. Gnosco or epignosis. Excuse me. Having a true and personal relationship with him and his son. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you pray to God. Never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, I ask that you continually I pray for our country and that you continually just bless the people that are in it and that you just take care of each and every one of us. I thank you for just the great blessings that you have for me and my family, for the business. I ask that can you show me and cut the path where we're to go next? And I pray for each and every one of the people that we work with that you take care of them and bless them. And if there's anything that we can do that you put that on our heart. And again, I just thank you for the moments of my life and thank you for what your son did. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
