[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him and be joyful. You know, I've been working out now.
[00:00:28] Speaker B: For like four months and I.
[00:00:29] Speaker A: This guy.
[00:00:30] Speaker B: Yes. Or a couple days ago, just crushed my soul.
[00:00:33] Speaker A: And my. I'm so tired, I can't even hardly get up and down. I almost fell down the stairs today walking down the, Walking down the stairs. And I'm just.
Man, I need some energy. I was praying this morning about that, like, God, you got to show me how to get through this and maintain some sort of energetic level at work, because I am, I am losing my mind. But I was listening to a book called God's Promises. Now I'm an auditory learner, so I like to listen and I have it downloaded on like audible or something. And I was. I was listening to it this morning while I was taking a shower. And there's a couple verses that came up. But it just blesses me so much when you start to hear the Word again. Faith is believing specifically what you hear. And you gotta hear this stuff in order to apply it and keep it in your heart and in your mind. Again, what you think about makes you you. So the more you think about the wor, the more it's going to be in there when you face God. That light, God's light will melt your heart. Well, it can either harden it or melt it. But when you face him, your face is illuminated, your heart's illuminated, and that's what the Word does. And I want to go over that today. If you go to second Timothy, chapter three, verse 10, it says, but thou has fully known my doctrine, my manner of life, my purpose, my faith, my long suffering, my charity, my patience, persecutions, afflictions which came unto me at Antioch and Iconium, or Iconium and Lystra, which persecutions I endured. But out of them all the Lord delivered me. You're going to go through ups and downs in life, but God will deliver you through all things. Verse 12. Yea, and all that will live godly in Jesus Christ or in Christ Jesus shall be persecuted. But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. But continue thou in the. In the things which thou hast learned and has been assured of knowing out from whom thou has learned them. You got to know this word is from God. You got to know that you're probably going to be persecuted the more you walk with God. But there's a such a. There's so many things that happen in your life where God works on you. That godly grief that changes things. The change in your moral position. God will work on you. The Spirit will work in you. That Holy Spirit, that power from on high will work in you and through you to change you and to make you a better person, to be able to stand in times of tribulation.
Tribulation, work of patience, patience, experience and experience hope, which is the expectation of future good and hope will never cause shame.
Verse 14 but continue thou in the things which thou has learned and has been assured of knowing out from whom thou hast learned them. And that from a child thou has known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make thee wise with motion to the safety and the preservation or the salvation through faith, which is in Christ Jesus. The dividing line of this life is believing in the name of Jesus Christ. And when you know the Scriptures, you know out from whom the Scripture, the Scriptures came, which is God. And it will change again. It will change you. What is it good for? Verse 16 all scripture, which is the book of authority. This is the book of authority in life. It's not anything else. This is what brings you freedom. This is what makes you up. Well, it doesn't make you upright in front of God, but this is what cleans up your life. This is what allows you to think on the right things. All Scripture, which is the book of authority, is God breathed. It's given by inspiration of God and is helpful for doctrine. This is helpful. This is aiding and useful for doctrine, which is teaching or the substance or the result of the teaching. And for reproof with this, which is the conviction or a convincing argument. The more you read this, the more you're convinced in your mind that this is the truth.
That when you start to walk in this stuff, you're convinced and you start to see that this Scripture is good, what this Scripture is good for. It's good for reproof, for correction, or to set right again for instruction or the training of a child in righteousness or uprightness. If you want to change your life, you got to read the Word. You got to know the Word. I love one of my favorite verses has to do with like bodily. It's essentially bodily working out. It's working out your body. It doesn't do much. It doesn't do much for you. In life. The Word is what you're to do. The words want you to focus on and to work on and to lift and you know, I mean, this is the stuff that's good for the reproof and the correction of doctrine and the teaching of a child in righteousness. Verse 17 that the man of God may be fitted fully or thoroughly equipped unto all good works or every. Every work.
The the when you start to apply the Word, that's what helps you to become perfectly fitted as a son of God, equipped for good works, equipped for the life that you're going to live in godliness, grace, which is the loving disposition and peace will make you full through the instrument of having a true and personal relationship with God.
The you got to know the Word in order to start to talk to God, in order to start to change your heart. And when you start to move into that place where you and God are right there, you're getting direction from him, you're listening to him. You'll start to see the difference in your life. But it's a day in, day out working on until you can get to the point where you have true believing, a conviction, knowing where you're. Where you know where you're saved from. Who's going to provide for you.
It's work.
Take some time today. Put these words in your mouth or put these verses in your heart. Find a verse, stick them in there, pray the big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again when you pray, you pray to God. Never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
I will be coming home and when the foghorn.
[00:07:03] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much. Thank you for your word and thank you for the moments again in my life. I thank you for the energy and to just get through this and to feel strong and to mentally get stronger right now. Father, I'm just kind of man, I'm out of it and I just thank you.
[00:07:22] Speaker A: I thank you for the people that we work with.
[00:07:24] Speaker B: I thank you for the business you've given me. I thank you for the time I've lived and I thank you for being in this business for 15 years. I'm not freaking out.
It's just such a blessing, just such a blessed place to be where we are now, opposed to what it was, Father. I thank you for that. Again, I lift up each and every moment. I thank you for your son, what you did for us. And I just ask the show your people, your love all around them, Father. And again. Yeah, I just thank you. I just lift up a great day to you. In the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
