[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited.
[00:00:09] Speaker A: Today because today is the day that.
[00:00:11] Speaker B: The Lord hath made.
[00:00:12] Speaker A: We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it.
[00:00:14] Speaker B: Rejoice in every single moment that you.
[00:00:15] Speaker A: Have the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank Him.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: Be joyful, be happy, be excited.
[00:00:26] Speaker A: It's just.
[00:00:27] Speaker B: Man, last night I barely slept.
[00:00:28] Speaker A: It's. It's so windy where I, where I live. And all night you're hearing that thing just gusting, gusting, gusting, gust. And we have a hot tub and I kept thinking about this hot tub head flipping up and I was freaking out about it and it was just an unbelievable night. But anyways, I hope you had great sleep. I hope you are excited about the day. I was reading in Second Peter today and it kind of ties into the fact that you're righteous, you know, you are righteous. And building that relationship with God is everything in life. If you go to Second Peter, chapter one, verse two, it says grace, which is that loving disposition, and peace, which is the state of undisturbed well being. Again, where you're sitting there and you're in a state where nothing in the outside world bothers you. So seeing God's grace and that love and the state of peace will make you full. If you want to know what will fill you up in life, it's those two things. Living in God's grace and knowing that you are in a state of under well being. It'll make you full through the instrument of the knowledge of God. Knowledge is having a true. It's epignosis, having a true and personal relationship with an object where you hear from that object and you heed its advice.
Grace, grace, that loving knowing that you are in a state of grace. Essentially, if you know that nothing in this life is not about your acts, it's not about doing wrong, you're in a state of grace with God. You're in a state where you are undisturbed by the outside world that's going to fill you up. And the instrument of it is having a relationship with God and of his and of our Lord and savior Christ Jesus. 2. Two separate things, verse 3. According to or according or on the ground that his divine power hath been given to us all things for life and godliness.
Life is that manifested life. It's life in all of its manifestations. It's life made visible to us.
The second part of that is godliness. Godliness is having a relationship with God. It's the opposite of religion, religion being religious. Religious is an outward example, an outward expression of having that relationship. Where you go to church, you, you sit in church, you, you know, all that stuff that is religiousness. In, in the, in this context, having godliness is having the relationship with God. So again, according as his divine power hath been given to us. So if you don't feel good enough, you're wrong. All God's power has been given to you for life in all of its manifestations. And, and getting to know God, having a relationship with God, godliness through the knowledge. And again, this is this epignosis of him. All life comes from having a relationship with God, all of it. And that's the thing. Like if you're so stuck in works and acts, you're missing out on the life that God has provided for you. But it's interesting because if you keep on going down, listen to what it says. By which are given unto us exceeding and great and precious promises, that by these you might become partakers of the divine nature.
All these promises God gives you is so that you can become more spiritual. That you start seeing life through a spiritual prism. That it's not about your five senses. It's not about the carnal nature. It's about the spirit that God's given to you. That spirit, that power from on high to that you have right now. Again, by which are given unto us exceeding and great precious promises that by these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
All the Ten Commandments is through that. That shows. It was there to show people what lust is, what sin is. Because if you stay away from that stuff, it's easier to have that, that relationship with God. Because you're not, I don't know, contorted. Verse 5. And besides this and besides all these things, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and that's moral excellence.
That's where that sin consciousness comes in. You're to add to faith. But if you don't have faith, if you don't have the first thing, you can't add to it. You got to learn to believe, to have a firm conviction in what you hear.
Having faith and having a relationship with God is the number one thing. After that comes all the other stuff. If you want to keep on walking and stepping up those building stones, those steps, you got to choose in Life, what's important. You got to put this stuff in your mind. You got to know who you are. You got to start to think spiritually and build the relationship with God. He wants you to declare your prayers. If you're going through a hard situation, go to God in all things. You get in a car wreck, you go to God. You need money, you go to God. You can't sleep at night, you go to God. All things you go to God in and you'll see what happens. It's wonderful. He will bring you to that state of peace. And it's a beautiful state to be in once you're there. But you gotta go through the trials and the tribulations.
[00:05:52] Speaker B: That's what it's about.
[00:05:53] Speaker A: He sets the days side by side in order that we find nothing past him. The good days and the bad, bad days. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you pray to God. You never pray to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, you lift it.
[00:06:09] Speaker B: Up in the name of Jesus Christ.
[00:06:10] Speaker A: Have a great day. God bless you and your family, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. Let your soul and spirit fly into the mistake.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:06:27] Speaker B: Just for everything you do for us and just how much of a blessing it is. I thank you for the little time this morning and I'm just very thankful for the place that you've put me in and kind of transfigured me to get into. I thank you for your believers and that you just take care of them, that anybody that's going through it, that you kind of show them away. I know that you don't. You don't make. Make a way or not make a way out of it, but I just thank you for just for you, just for everything you've done. And I lift up your son. I thank you for what he did for us, that we can live this way and for your word and just how much of a blessing it is. And I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
