Dwell in God's love and be made perfect - 2 Thessalonians 3:1:5, 1 John 4:4:16-18
2 Thessalonians 3:1:5
3 Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word (the spoken word as connected to the inner thought) of the Lord (Christ) may have (run) free course , and be glorified (triumph gloriously), even as it is with you:
2 And that we may be delivered (to draw or snatch from danger) from unreasonable (out of place, out of the way, strange, unnatural) and wicked (evil in nature, bad, ill) men: for all men have not faith.
3 But the Lord (Christ) is faithful, who shall stablish (set fast, establish) you, and keep (guard) you from evil (evil one).
4 And we have confidence (faith) in (remaining within) the Lord (Christ) touching (on account of) you, that ye both do and will do the things which we command (charge) you.
5 And the Lord (Christ) direct (guide) your hearts into (motion to the end) the love of God, and into the patient (patience, as) waiting for (of) Christ.
1 John 4:4:16-18
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
