[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but youtful day?
[00:00:07] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day today and I hope you are excited.
[00:00:09] Speaker A: Today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice.
[00:00:23] Speaker B: Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:24] Speaker A: I was just thinking about how, you know, God created today and we are to enjoy the moments of today. And I'm just thankful to be alive. Anybody that's had any type of illness or sickness. It's amazing how once you lose your health, everything else disappears.
All those things you're worried about, all those anxious thoughts. Once you lose something that's going on with your health, boy, it changes everything.
And you know, I'm just thankful for today. And I was. I was reading and I'm working on this. You know, there's God and then God and His Son, Jesus Christ. God's seed was in Christ Jesus. And now that Christ is the head of the body, what does that mean? Because he is the head of the body of believers and he's our Lord and Savior.
And I was reading in Ephesians and it talks about the wives are to submit unto your husbands. If you go to verse 22.
Well, actually, I mean, we're really just submit to one another. But. And then to your.
[00:01:22] Speaker B: But whatever. I'll go over that.
[00:01:23] Speaker A: But it says in verse 20, chapter 5, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Submitting or putting yourselves under one another in the fear of Christ or in that reverential awe of Christ. Wives, submit yourselves or put yourselves under your own husbands as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church and is the Savior of the body. Therefore, as the church is. Is. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let wives be to their own husbands and everything. So it talks about the wives first. But what I was really interesting, interested in was the husbands, because it talks about.
[00:02:05] Speaker B: I'll go over it.
[00:02:06] Speaker A: Verse 25. Husbands love your wives. Easing. Even as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it.
Christ Jesus gave Himself for the church. He. He loves every single one of us. He died for us.
Verse 26. That he may sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word that he may present, present it to Himself a glorious Church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish.
Because Christ died for us. And the love that he had for those people that he never met.
Because he died for you. Because he died for me.
He sanctifies and cleanses us. The body unto God. It was by grace that ye are saved. God chose that the sacrifice of Christ Jesus made us whole.
And Christ is the head of the body, so he's the head of the believers. And what does he do? He looks at all of us in love.
He gave himself for us. Verse 27. That he might present it to himself. A glorious church. Church. Not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife, loveth himself.
Christ gave himself for us. And it's the same thing that husbands are too. But I'm more. I'm more interested in the way that Christ loves the body of believers.
Because you know, we are to submit to Christ.
Call him our Lord and Savior. Romans 10, 9, 10. That if thou shalt confess the Lord Jesus, you have to confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your. You have to confess that he is the Lord of your life.
You know, you have Christ and you have God, but Christ.
Christ is the one. You have to say that he is your master. He's your Lord and Savior. He died for you. Romans 10:9, 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thy thou shalt be saved.
You have to literally say that I believe that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and that God raised him from the dead.
That's what makes you born again. That's what makes you of the household of God, of the house, you know, in the body, in that. In that church.
That's what it is. You specifically have to say it if the Word's true. And guess what? The Word is true.
But I was. Again, I'm just interested. Verse 29. For no man yet hateth his own flesh, but nourishes it and cherishes it, even as Christ the Church.
He nourishes you.
He cares for you. He cherishes you. That's the leadership.
That's our ma. That's our Lord.
That's our Lord. I mean, you have God and Christ, and that's who we are under someone who cares for us and cherishes Us, for we are members of his body. The body. The spiritual body of believers. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and shall be joined unto his wife, and they too shall be one flesh. This is the great mystery. But I speak concerning the Messiah and the church nevertheless, to every one of you in particular.
So love his wife as himself and the wife, see that she is in reverence of her husband.
We are to be in reverential awe of Christ Jesus, and we are to ultimately love him and love God today. If you're. You know, you could.
If you haven't confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you're not part of the church yet. The body of believers. And I suggest you take some time today. And if you believe it, say it again. Romans 10, 9, and 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth, you gotta say it the Lord Jesus. And believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead. Thou shalt be saved. Verse 10. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. That's what makes you upright. And with the mouth, you gotta say it. Confession is made unto safety and salvation.
You have to say it. If you haven't, I suggest you do.
[00:06:22] Speaker B: If you believe it.
[00:06:24] Speaker A: Have a great day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you pray to God. Never to Jesus Christ. It's biblical. You pray to God, you lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family and.
[00:06:37] Speaker B: I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:48] Speaker A: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:06:50] Speaker B: Just for everything you do for us. I pray that you continually work with me and show me your word that I can understand this better and that all these little things I'm going over, that you can just kind of let me power drive through them so I can just understand it and it doesn't take me that long.
[00:07:07] Speaker A: I thank you again for your believers.
[00:07:09] Speaker B: And for your son, that he died for us. And I. I'm very grateful for the moments of my life. I pray for the safety of my brother traveling today and for the sickness of everybody. I also pray that I don't get sick. And again, I thank you for just every single moment that we have under the sun, Father. And I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
