[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today, because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy.
[00:00:21] Speaker B: Continually give God that sacrifice of grace.
[00:00:23] Speaker A: Praise him and thank him.
This morning I was reading and nothing was hitting, and nothing was hitting, and nothing was hitting, and I was reading and nothing was hitting.
So I ended up going back into Luke and I just wanted to go over this. This is something that Jesus Christ said to his disciples and it just kind of blessed me this morning. So I'm going to go over that.
But yeah, hope you're having a good morning. If you go to Luke chapter 6, verse 20, it says, and he lifted up his eyes unto his disciples and said, blessed be the poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.
Blessed are they that hunger ye that hunger now, for ye shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now, for ye shall laugh.
If there's a need, God is going to take care of it. In your life, if you have a need, God will take care of it. Just pray about it. Be anxious for not one thing, but in all things, by prayers to God. These are prayers of specific need, prayers to God and supplications. Let your specific requests be declared unto God, and the peace of God will take care of you.
If you have need, God is going to take care of it.
Verse 22. Blessed are ye when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you, or cut you off from their company, and shall reproach you and cast you out in your name as evil for the Son of man's sake. Rejoice ye in that day and leap for joy. For behold, your reward is great in heaven, for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
If you're cast out because you believe in the name of Christ, if you believe in the name of Jesus, and you you know Jesus Christ your Lord and Savior. Blessed are ye, because your reward will be in heaven.
Verse 24 but woe unto you that are rich, for ye have received your consolation or your comfort. Woe unto you that are full, for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now, for ye shall mourn and weep.
Woe unto you when all men shall speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
If you don't need God, if you don't need Anything.
[00:02:31] Speaker B: I mean, okay, that's fine.
[00:02:34] Speaker A: It's crazy because, like, in life, we're in this place where we're receiving right now. And, you know, you still give thanks to God.
I know the struggle we've gone through, and I know where we are now. And I'm still very thankful for God. But if you're too good for all that, okay.
Verse 27. But I say unto you which hear, love your enemies and do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you and pray for them which despitefully use you.
That's not an easy thing. It's the opposite of our nature.
Bless them, pray for them. Verse 29. And unto them that smiteth thee on one cheek, offer also the other, turn your other one.
And him that taketh away thy cloak, for forbid not to take thy cloak also give to every man that asketh of the and of him that taketh away thy goods, ask them not again.
[00:03:31] Speaker C: Wow.
[00:03:32] Speaker A: I mean, whoa.
That's hard. I get mad when people don't take my. Put back my tools.
Put them back. Like there's a reason why you found them in the first place. I mean, on our property we have a.
I have like every tool under the sun, every drill bit, everything. But I always put it back. And when people use it, if it's not back in that place, it makes me crazy. And yet here we're to give when people just ask of us.
31.
And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye. For sinners also love those that love them.
This kind of blows my mind because I remember in school, they. It was like, you know, the golden rule is treat everybody like you treat yourself.
But it was treat everybody like they would treat like they want to be treated. Well, that's a twisting.
That's a twisting of the word. Because here it says, and. And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them. Likewise God says, you do to people as. As you you want to be done to yourself.
It's just a little twisting of the word, but so interesting. So interesting. Verse 32. If you love them which love you, what thank have you for sinners also love them Love those that love them. And if you do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye for sinners also do even the same. And if you lend to them of whom of home of of whom whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye for sinners also lend to sinners to receive as much again. But love your enemies and do good and lend hoping for nothing. And your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the highest.
It's opposite. It's. You gotta start. That's the thing. It's not easy to change your mind to do what the Word says to do.
And it's also, you have to understand that there's an Old Testament and a New Testament. There's an old administration and a new administration. You got to know what administration you're in. You got to know who Christ is talking to.
I mean, at the end of the day, you believe. You don't live in fear. You take care of people. You treat people well. You love your brethren. There's two new commandments. Believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another.
[00:05:57] Speaker B: That's it.
[00:05:58] Speaker A: Have a beautiful day today. Again, if you're living in fear, that's not from God. Pray about it. Pray to God. Go to the scripture. Change your mind. Renovate your thoughts. Have a beautiful day. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. You pray to God, you lift it.
[00:06:17] Speaker B: Up in the name of Jesus Christ.
[00:06:18] Speaker A: Have a great day. God bless you and your family.
[00:06:20] Speaker B: I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:23] Speaker C: And where that foghorn blows, I will be coming home.
[00:06:32] Speaker B: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. And just everything that's going on, I ask that you guide my steps because I know the next couple weeks are going to be crazy, that you kind of show me what to do as far as the other business and how to handle it, like to invest or not to invest or what to do with all that.
I thank you again for just my.
[00:06:52] Speaker A: Family and the people that you put in my life.
[00:06:54] Speaker B: I thank you for the just the great blessings that you bestowed upon us. I thank you that the property is finally starting to come together after all these years. And I just ask you for a great day today and a blessed day. And I lift up everything to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
