[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him. For any of you under 40, you should be very, very thankful.
[00:00:30] I'm like, I've been waiting for some reason now when I sleep at night, I have to wake up in the middle of the night and use the restroom. And sometimes when I do that, I'm up forever. And I am up. And that's what happened today. And I just remember the times when that didn't happen.
[00:00:45] So for any of you under 40, you better be thankful, man. Be ye thankful. Today is a good day. Last night was a good night of sleep. I.
[00:00:56] Yeah, I've been reading. I've been working on this. The Lord and Savior and Jesus Christ and all this stuff.
[00:01:02] And today I was just reading over Matthew and what he says, and there's so many things in this in between 5 and 7 that are just phenomenal. But I wanted to read a couple things today. If you go to chapter seven, verse one, it says, judge, judge not, that ye be not judged.
[00:01:20] Don't make that final decision that you don't, that you're not judged. Now, once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are righteous and you have that righteousness with God. So as far as the final judgment with God, you're covered. However, there are effects that happen to you. There are things that are affected when you judge people. Listen, verse two. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged. And with what measure you meet, ye shall be. It shall be measured to you.
[00:01:53] The things that. The way you judge people, you judge yourself. You condemn yourself in that judgment. Now, I don't know if this is a law that God put into place. I'm guessing it probably is. But think about it. If you're super. If you're super bad, like for instance, if you care about people's hair and you walk in and all you do is see people's hair, and you judge them based on that. Like, man, their hair looks awful.
[00:02:18] They better fix that haircut that looks ridiculous.
[00:02:21] You judge yourself when you look into the mirror, do you not judge yourself and think, I wonder how my hair looks today?
[00:02:30] If you don't judge that, if you don't care about hair. When you look at yourself in the mirror, do you think you care about hair? I mean, really think about that. Like, apply this to your life.
[00:02:40] Start thinking about your life. Does this not affect you?
[00:02:43] And is it blessing you to have those thoughts?
[00:02:47] For me, like, I mean, like I said, I kind of size people up, or at least I have in the past.
[00:02:51] And I don't know if it's a defensive thing. I don't know what the psychology behind why I used to do it, but when I would walk in, I'd immediately just size people up.
[00:03:00] And instead of doing that, I started praying for him. If I had a negative thought towards him, I would start to pray for him.
[00:03:06] And I stopped. And as a result of that, I stopped really judging people, but I honestly stopped judging myself.
[00:03:13] This stuff affects you. The word of God, the spoken word of God is it causes effect. It reconnects you to God. You're reconnected spiritually. But when you start to apply this and renovate it in your minds, it starts to change who you are, which is why you put this stuff in your, in your mind. If you don't like judging yourself, stop judging other people. Stop looking at them the way you're looking at yourself.
[00:03:39] Again, verse three. And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but consider us not the beam or the mote that is in thine own eye.
[00:03:48] Why are you looking at somebody and judging them? When you have your own problems, fix your own problems. Or how wilt thou say to thou, brother, let me pull out the mote out of thine eye, and behold, a beam is in thine own eye.
[00:04:04] I mean, how many people do you know that will sit there and try to help you in your life when they have their disaster in their own life?
[00:04:14] But you got it. You don't look at it like you're looking at other people. This is what you. How you apply it to your own self.
[00:04:21] Why am I trying to help somebody when I have my own problems?
[00:04:26] If they're blaring, you know, I mean, if you're together, it's a different story. But, but you understand what I'm saying.
[00:04:31] Verse 5. Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the beam or the moat out of thine of thy brother's eyes.
[00:04:44] It's, it's. The analogy is so beautiful. And it's. It, for me, it just, it hits home.
[00:04:51] Fix your own problems. Before you sit there and try to judge other people, stop judging because you're judging yourself. Ultimately, then, if you want to walk around in your life and those are the thoughts you want to have, go for it.
[00:05:05] Go for it. It's not blessing you. It's not blessing the people you're around.
[00:05:10] No one wants to hear that kind of stuff. They want it. You want to be a light to the world. If you go to Matthew and I'll just make this real quick now, this isn't in the same context, but I just like this in Matthew 5.
[00:05:21] Ye are the light of the world.
[00:05:24] A city that is set on a high hill cannot be hid.
[00:05:28] You can't hide a city that's on the top. You see it, you're the light of the world. Verse 15. Neither do men light a candle and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick that it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father, for which is in heaven.
[00:05:51] They will glorify God, which is in heaven when they see your light. And the things you think about make you you. So what are you thinking about?
[00:05:58] And if you want to change who you are and if you want to change the things you think about, you start to apply the word. You will change as a person. I know it because I am a living testimony of this stuff. If you knew how negative I was growing up. It's a. I'm telling you, it. It changes you. But you got to renovate your mind. Put on the new man, the new spiritual nature. Don't walk in the carnal man. And it's a choice you can choose.
[00:06:26] So choose it. Stand fast in the liberty where with Christ hath made you free and be not entangled again with the weight and the yoke of bondage. Don't live this life strapped down, man. Be free. You have that freedom. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray biblical, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, you lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:07:03] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I pray for a safe trip and that I can just get everything. And it's a blessing and it's a joyful, joyful thing. Father, I thank you actually for setting me up with that trainer with Rob and how much of a blessing it is. And I'm very grateful to be getting back in shape. I'm thankful for just everyone you've surrounded me with over the years, how I finally found my home, and what a wonderful home that is. And I thank you for each and every one of your believers that they can, that you just provide them kind of with that same type of lifestyle and that they get their father. And I thank you for the opportunity you gave us through your son, Christ Jesus, and I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
