[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day?
[00:00:07] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today, because today is the day the Lord hath made.
[00:00:13] Speaker A: We will be glad.
[00:00:13] Speaker B: We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy.
[00:00:21] Speaker A: Continually give God that sacrifice.
[00:00:24] Speaker B: Praise. Praise him and thank him. And be joyful.
Be joyous. It's a great day. It was a beautiful night last night. I was out just kind of sitting on our deck fishing, and man, it was just. It was just a gorgeous night.
[00:00:37] Speaker A: And I hope you're experiencing a great summer. I was reading this morning in Romans, if you go to romans, chapter, chapter 19 or chapter 3, verse 19, it says, now we know that whatsoever things the law saith, it saith to them that are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped and that all the world may become guilty before God. It talks about how there's. There's none that are righteous under God's eyes. Is the Old Testament. No, not one. Everybody sins. Everybody does the wrong thing. Verse 21.
Well, actually, verse 20.
Therefore, by the deeds of the law, there shall no flesh, no.
No body, no flesh, be justified or set forth as righteous in his sight. For by law is the knowledge of sin.
What the law did is. It showed what sin was, gave us the knowledge of it. But more importantly, no one's righteous underneath that law, because everyone does wrong every now and then. Verse 21. But now, right now, the righteousness of God, and this is being set forth as righteous. The righteousness of God, the uprightness of God without or apart from law, is manifested or made openly known, being witnessed by the law and the prophets.
Right now, though, it's the righteousness out from the Origins of faith, verse 22. Even the righteousness which is by faith, this is cool. Even the righteousness of God, which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all that believe. For there is no difference or distinction. Listen to what the word by means.
It's marked by a fact or an event.
So again the. Even the righteousness of God which is marked by a fact or an event, of faith of Jesus Christ, it's the moment you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, Romans 10, 9, 10. That's the event that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth Unto righteousness you believe unto righteousness with motion to righteousness and with the mouth, confession is made unto safety your salvation.
It's marked by that event.
That event makes you righteous.
If you jump over to verse 28, therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.
There's a verse in here in the beginning of Romans that talks about how the law is written in your heart. You know right and wrong and your conscience is the mean of either excusing it or letting it go. Or it knows that it's wrong, but it's written in there.
But the righteousness of God has nothing to do with law.
It helps you in your life, it helps you walk the right way. It keeps you in an easier conjunction with God. But God is spirit.
And when you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are righteous. You are marked by that event.
You're righteous in God's eyes, you're a son of God and you have the Holy Spirit, the power from on high and everything that comes with that in you.
It can't be taken away by your deeds.
If you jumped over or if you jump down to chapter four, verse six, it says, even as David also described, the blessedness of the man unto whom God imputeth righteousness apart from works, David spoke of this day where God would impute or give us righteousness away apart from the works of the law, saying, blessed or happy are those whose iniquities, and these are violations of the law, are, are forgiven or dismissed, and whose sins are covered. Blessed are happy is the man whom the Lord will not impute sin, will not count sin.
It's so different than what most people are taught.
The fact is, is you're righteous.
You are set apart. You are righteous in God's eyes right now.
And all he asks is that you pray the two new commandments. He believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another and give him thanks. Give him the sacrifice of praise singing and making melody in your hearts to the Lord.
Finally, in chapter 5, verse 1, therefore being justified out from faith, we have peace, which is the state of undisturbed well being with God. And the dividing line is our Lord Jesus Christ.
If you don't feel like you have peace with God, it's not accurate. You have peace the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, he's not punishing you.
You are in a perfect state of peace with God and it's a spiritual state and it's wonderful.
Know who you are and be thankful for those. Just. Just be thankful every morning. I mean, you're. You're a son of God now.
What a wonderful place to be in.
Have a beautiful day. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Again, when you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God.
[00:05:55] Speaker B: Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ.
[00:05:57] Speaker A: Have a great day. God bless you and your family. And I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much.
[00:06:12] Speaker B: For today and for everything that's going on. I pray that you can get me through this day of taxes, that I can just knock all this stuff out and I don't have to think about it or worry about it.
[00:06:21] Speaker A: I thank you for the movement you.
[00:06:22] Speaker B: Give us and the ideas. And I pray that I can have the energy to accomplish everything that I wanted to accomplish this summer.
I thank you again for just the loving disposition that you have towards us and for your son and the way you set it up that we are righteous and sons of God. And I just thank you for a great day and a blessed day. And I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
