[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is today, another day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. [00:00:21] Speaker B: Be thankful, be happy. [00:00:22] Speaker A: Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. [00:00:25] Speaker B: Praise him and thank him. [00:00:26] Speaker A: Finally feeling better. So watch out. I'm about 95%, maybe 95 depending on the hour, but just so thankful to [00:00:36] Speaker B: be getting healthy again. [00:00:38] Speaker A: But I was reading this morning, now I've been working on the relation between sin and righteousness. Now because before you were righteous based on your works, based on your acts. And then you have Jesus Christ that came and the law of faith that once you believe on the name of Jesus Christ, that's what makes you righteous. So where does sin lie now? Like where are we now? And I read through the whole, so I read a couple different translations. You have the King James version, you have the Lambsa, which I really like. And then there's the modern language. And what I did is I went through every single place that it's not contradictory or maybe I, maybe I don't understand it quite yet, but I went through the whole New Testament, read the whole thing in the lamza, read the whole things in King James was going through the modern. And there's a couple places that I read today that just really blessed me. And yeah, I'm just thankful for it. If you go to the modern language, It's Romans, chapter three, verse. Where is this verse? I think it's verse 19. It says now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under its control. So that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may be liable to divine retribution. Now when there was law only before Christ came and there was law, it was based on your acts and the whole world. There is no not, there is no not righteous, not one. There is not one person before Christ Jesus that walked through this life and did not sin. Christ is the one that did walk through life just as we are tempted. He was tempted, he didn't sin, and then he died as the perfect sacrifice and the propitiation for all sin. And in sin that we might become the righteousness of God, which it talks about in other chapters. But anyways, going back to verse 19, now we know that whatever the law says, it says to those who are under its control. So that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become liable to divine retribution because not a single human being will be made righteous in God's sight through observance of the law. If you're walking around in this life and you think the only thing that God cares about is your actions, that is not the truth. What makes you righteous is faith. And it's going to go through that because not a single human being will be made righteous in God's sight through observance of the law. For through the law comes the knowledge of sin. Prior to the law, there was no knowledge of what was wrong with God. They walked around this life and they just did whatever they want. And there was. Sin was always in the world. And the results of sin, which are negative. But it wasn't. It wasn't. Nobody knew what it was. It wasn't until the law came that you could say, hey man, this is wrong. And if you continue to walk down this path, there's going to be negative things happening. You're not righteous in God's eyes. Verse 21. But now, apart from law, God's righteousness is revealed as it is written to by the law and the prophets, namely God's righteousness through faith in Jesus Christ for all believers. And that's it. And that's the whole thing. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous. Do the law still exist? Yes, it talks about it. And if you jump over to 31, do we then abrogate? Which by the way, I totally had to look up the word abrogate. It's annul or appeal. Do we annul or do we repeal the law through faith? Not at all. Instead, we uphold it. We uphold the law. The relationship with the law now and us as believers is as follows. You believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous in God's eyes. He's not holding your quote unquote sins to account. However, there's a carnal nature that walk towards death. There's a spiritual nature that walks towards life. Your conscience bears witness of it. And you know godly grief worketh a change in your moral position. You know when you're walking wrong, the first thing is you're righteous in God's eyes. You're a son of God. Nothing can take that away. No action can change that. You have an opportunity to walk in this life either in fellowship and in a good relationship with God or not. That's not changing your standing with him. That's not changing your standing in heaven. All it does is affect your fellowship with God. It Affects your relationship with God. You get to choose, and that's what's so beautiful. And you can repent and ask God to take, you know, if you mess up, say, hey, man, I'm sorry. Knowing that God's gonna be, obviously forgive you. But you also have an advocate with the Father Jesus Christ, the righteous one, who's there, you know, if you mess up, he's there for you. Talking to God, man, on your behalf. We live in a tremendous time and a tremendous administration, and it all depends on what you think about in this life. You gotta change your mind to the promises that God has on for you, and it will automatically clean up your life. Have a great day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray that word, it's praying to God, not to Jesus Christ. Praying to God, and it's out loud, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. Well, Heavenly Father, I just. [00:06:40] Speaker B: I'm very, very grateful for the things that you do. I'm very, very grateful for the moments of my life. I pray that you continually enlighten my eyes, especially when it comes to the taxes, that I get all that done. I thank you for working out the confusion whenever it needs to be worked out. I pray for the trip to Dallas next week, that, that everything that needs to get done and as far as, like, cognitively, everything comes back. I thank you again for the moments of my life, the people you put in my life. I pray for those believers out there that you just take care of them for our country. I also pray for the small groups, I don't even know you call it, that I work with and that you just take care of them and that you just continually bless them. And I ask you to continually open up the word specifically on this topic. And I thank you for your son and what we. [00:07:27] Speaker A: What we have. [00:07:27] Speaker B: And yeah, just for my life, I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
