[00:00:02] Good morning. Good morning. How are you? How you been on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him. Thank him. I'm finally back. It's been probably three weeks. I mean, I was in the Dominican and for a week golfing, which I gotta be honest with you, was fantastic. Then I came back, was just sick as a dog. And then the last two days I had to go to Dallas. So it's just been a. It's just been ridiculous for some reason. I feel like it's Friday. But I've been reading a lot. I've been reading different translations lately because I've been working on this, the where you are now, like, once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous, and then where does kind of sin fall? [00:00:56] How does that whole thing work? And then like staying in fellowship with God and. And all this stuff. So I've been reading the new trans. Or different. Not new translations, different translations. And I. [00:01:07] I came across. Well, I started reading Proverbs honestly and. And this just. There's a. There's a bunch of stuff in here that really. I'm just thankful for God. I'm thankful for what God's done. I'm thankful for His Word. If you start to follow this stuff and you believe what the Word says, and believing is having a firm conviction, it solves a lot. [00:01:28] It solves a lot of revolvings of the mind because you can focus in, you can hone in. But I was reading in chapter 10 of Proverbs, and I'm reading out of the Lambs of translation, it says, the Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish, but he cast away the substance of the wicked. [00:01:46] Poverty humbles a man, but the hands of the diligent men make rich. Now there's two or three things in here, but the Lord will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish. If you're going through it, you have to believe that God is going to take care of you. [00:02:02] If you're going through a time in your life where you're broke, God will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish. But you have to work. [00:02:10] And I love that. Poverty will humble a man. [00:02:13] Been there, done that. Understand this verse completely. [00:02:18] It'll humble you. [00:02:19] And sometimes I think God uses that to humble you. He certainly did it with me. [00:02:24] I came from a family that did well. [00:02:27] And then. And then we started the business and whoo, boy. Different. Different world. [00:02:32] Different world. And the pressure was just turned up a thousand degrees. But poverty will humble a man. Maybe if you're going through it, you need some humbling, and that's okay. It's a good thing. Poverty humbles a man. But the hands of the diligent men make rich. You got to work in life. [00:02:50] I can't. One of the things that just drives me up the wall is when they talk about passive income. [00:02:55] Yes, yes, you can set yourself up. Yes, you can work and get yourself into a position to make money, but you have to work to get there. It's a godly principle. [00:03:07] You gotta sow, you gotta reap. Verse 5. He who works in summer is a wise man, but he who sleeps in harvest is. Is a son that causes. Causes shame. [00:03:18] If. If it's ready to be yield. If the fruit. If you work the field and it's ready to be yield, you got. Yielded. You got to get out there and work. You got to get out there and reap that harvest. [00:03:29] You got to work. [00:03:31] And it's a. It's. It's just the way it is. And I. I mean, it's. I get asked all the time, like, what are you going to do when you retire? [00:03:39] I. I don't work. [00:03:41] That's what I mean. I enjoy work. [00:03:43] It keeps you young, it keeps you healthy. [00:03:46] But it's a principle of God. You have to labor in life in whatever it is that you're doing. [00:03:51] If you jump over to verse 17, the true way of life brings discipline. But he who hates reproof is a fool. [00:03:59] It is not easy to be reproved in life. [00:04:02] But it's discipline. [00:04:05] The true way of life brings discipline. [00:04:08] You gotta discipline your mind. You have to discipline your thoughts. You have to discipline your life in order to walk uprightly. [00:04:19] Jump down to verse 22. The blessings of the Lord bring riches, and there shall be no sorrow in them. And I love this verse. This is a verse that I think about a lot. [00:04:30] Because when you receive from God, and it's a blessing from God, you're not going to receive the sorrow that comes from. When you aren't blessed from God. [00:04:39] When God gives the increase, it doesn't come with strings attached, it comes with blessings. Period. That's it. [00:04:47] And if you have gone through it both sides, this Verse, I mean, it just lights the way, man. I get this verse, verse 24. The wicked shall be dragged to ruin, but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. [00:05:02] You are righteous the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, and you're to walk uprightly. As a result of that, do we remove the law? Nay, we uphold it. You walk righteously, you walk uprightly. [00:05:16] But again, the desire that you want will be granted to you. [00:05:20] Man chooses the way, but it's God that directs the path. And if you really think about that, it's incredible that he gives us that much freedom. [00:05:29] And based on humans, I'm not sure that's the greatest thing in the world. I just want to finish up with this. Verse 26. As unripe grapes are hurtful to the teeth and as smoke to the eyes, so does wickedness hurt those who indulge in it. [00:05:44] One of the things that I struggle with is now that we believe in the name of Jesus Christ and we are righteous. Where does sin fall? [00:05:51] It hurts you is where it falls. [00:05:55] Actually, you know what? I'm gonna do One more verse. It hurts you. There's also this verse in chapter two of Romans, verse nine. [00:06:02] Let's see. It says, he will render sufferings and affliction for every man who does evil to the Jew first and also to the Gentile. [00:06:11] The thing is, is that like anguish and tribute, tribulation, it comes from wickedness and evil. [00:06:22] And we all do stuff. I mean, come on, everybody does. [00:06:27] But to know that that's what the result of it is, it's not your standing with God that's going to be affected, but you will. It will cause effect in your life. [00:06:37] Tribulation and anguish to those who work wickedness, a little wickedness, hurt those who indulge in it like smoke to the eyes. [00:06:46] You have to choose, right? You have to choose uprightness. And it's more for you. It blesses you, not God. [00:06:52] It's for you. [00:06:54] Have a phenomenal day today. Pray the big prayers, pray the small prayers. And when you pray, this word pray is praying to God. You pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. It's the biblical way of prayer. [00:07:11] Have a great day. God bless you and your family. [00:07:13] Talk to you tomorrow. [00:07:23] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much. I'm thankful for not being sick. I pray for my family, my brother, my sister, that they're healthy for Janine and everybody else, that everybody gets healthy and that we can just get back to rolling with the business. I thank you for that business, for great blessings. I pray for the situation with Pinterest and all that, that you just kind of open up my eyes to that. I thank you for getting me through taxes. Very, very grateful. And for getting me home safe for all the traveling I've been doing. Again, I thank you for the people and just for our country. And. [00:07:59] Yeah. That you just continually work in my heart, that you open up the word, that I can really enjoy life to the fullest. Father, I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and savior Christ Jesus.
