[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement, to be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:23] So there's a lot going on.
[00:00:26] I say. Last week, when I was on the plane.
[00:00:29] When I was on the plane down to Dallas, I was listening to a teaching by Dr. Werewolf, and it had to do with thinking on a verse. A lot of people have a hard time concentrating on one thought, let's say a verse. I was thinking that I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me, sticking on that one verse and not allowing other thoughts to come in. And I do this a lot when I. It's wild how when I grew up, we didn't have cell phones until, you know, until I was in high school. And. And this. This addiction, the dopamine that comes from getting on your phone. I go through these waves of, like, why is it that I can't even focus for five minutes before I get bored with whatever it is I'm watching or whatever it is I'm doing? It's just kind of outrageous. So I was listening to this teaching and about concentration, and it just. It got me thinking of this verse. And it said, you know, if you stick on one verse and you learn to just think on that one verse, not only will it help your concentration, obviously, but you're going to be blessed by it. So I was thinking about, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me. And I was thinking about that one verse, and I was kind of just. Just going through all the things that Christ that. That on all the. All the paths that I'm kind of choosing to go down and how there's an end goal for each one of the paths. Well, one of the things that I don't ever think about is the end goal for these teachings. What is the purpose of it, outside of what I originally started this for? I have my.
[00:02:02] I grew up in fellowships. Little, like, I don't know, 10 group study sessions, I'd say, like Bible study sessions. And there was singing and manifestations, and there's just like this beautiful part of my life where I learned to love God and I learned to put my trust in God. And I learned all that stuff from childhood. Well, I wanted that for my nephews and my niece.
[00:02:27] And so when we started the fellowship, when we started fellowship, the whole purpose was for them to have that experience. Well, in order to do that, you have to know how to teach. So I started working the Word and then I started, well, if I'm going to work the Word, I might as well put it online. And then it was taking too long to write it down, so I started doing an audio version of that. And that's essentially what this is.
[00:02:50] Well, after years of fellowship and everything else and, and after this teaching, I was thinking about this whole thing. I think what I've decided to do is I'm going to start putting our fellowships live online.
[00:03:03] In a sense of when I teach online, I'm going to stream it.
[00:03:07] And so for those of you who are on the personal text, there's a group that's on that. If you want to join, let me know and I'll talk to some of you about that. I'll get that going. But then also I'm going to. I have to figure out kind of where I'm going to put it, but I'm going to be doing that. I'm going to be leading to that. So every Sunday, Eastern standard time at like 10 o', clock, I'll be doing this. That's going to start this week. And for those of you who have it, great. I'll continue to talk about this as it goes. But this concentration, this thing about thinking on God's word and thinking I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, I mean, this is kind of like blowing my mind right now because we're going through this change at work, we're going through this change in our business.
[00:03:52] And it's a lot, man. We have a lot going on. We have a lot with work, we have a lot with sales, we have a lot with the culture, we have a lot with actual production. And I can. And this morning I. I couldn't sleep last night thinking about it. I woke up stressing about stumps like, like just ridiculous things, just on a scale of life. Completely ludicrous. And yet that's what I was thinking on. And if you have no frame of reference, if you have no reference where you can stick on something and get on something, I don't understand how you can get out of anxiety and anguish in your life.
[00:04:31] You have to. To have a relationship with God and a true relationship. You have to build hope, the expectation of future good. You have to build your belief that God will provide.
[00:04:45] You have to believe what The Word says, and if you don't hear the Word, if you don't read the Word, you can't do it. And if you don't rightly divide the Word, it's impossible.
[00:04:58] It starts with reading. It starts with starting to every day picking up that Bible and reading a chapter, if that's what it takes to start to get this stuff in there. And it's reading the right Bible. The New International is not the right one.
[00:05:12] It's not translated specific. You got to have specific translation. King James Version, Phenomenal. Lamza, phenomenal. English Standard Version. If you're just getting into it, phenomenal.
[00:05:25] You got to read the Word every day to start to build yourself up. And once you start to build yourself up and build your relationship with God and build your faith, which is specifically believing what you hear and having a firm conviction in that you can stand on the Word and you can remove the anxiousness out of your life.
[00:05:45] If you don't have that, you can't get out of it in the five senses. It's a spiritual conviction.
[00:05:53] Now, with that being said, I've been reading the Word a bunch and reading in the Lambs of different translations, and it's really blessing me. And even though I just spent the last six minutes talking about everything else but the Word, I still want to do a teaching today. If you go to Proverbs, chapter nine, and you jump down to verse 10, it says, the reverence of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the righteous is understanding. For by her your days shall be multiplied, and the years of your life shall be increased.
[00:06:25] The beginning. The beginning of wisdom. And it's God's wisdom, it's the wisdom that actually matters. And wisdom is rightly applying understanding, rightly applying knowledge, the knowledge of God and understanding the difference between good and evil, it's rightly applying it.
[00:06:42] The beginning of that is having reverential awe for God.
[00:06:47] Do you actually reverence God in your life? Do you believe that? Do you believe that God's there for you? Do you believe that he will do all the things that he says he'll do in the Word?
[00:06:58] Is your instinct to go to God in times of trouble, knowing he's going to take care of it, Knowing he will fulfill the desires of your heart, Knowing he'll open the doors and to close the doors, close the doors based on his will, Knowing that he is rightly dividing the path, Understanding that God is the top?
[00:07:19] That which is crooked cannot be made straight.
[00:07:22] God decides, and he has your best interest at Heart, we have a wonderful, loving God. If you jump over to Proverbs, it also multiplies your days, by the way. But we'll just skip. If you jump over to Proverbs, chapter 10, and this is verse 27.
[00:07:44] It says, Reverence for the Lord prolongs life, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
[00:07:51] Having reverential awe in your life prolongs it.
[00:07:55] And that's just. I don't know. I mean, I go back and forth with how much life you really want.
[00:08:00] I mean, it's crazy what goes on in the world, but he's going to prolong your life, and it's the life that he has for you.
[00:08:09] You don't. We are. This world is not my home. We're just a passing through.
[00:08:14] This is just. But for a moment, the world that's coming, the life that's coming as far as the spiritual kingdom where we're headed, man, it's going to be terrific, tremendous.
[00:08:27] And that's the. That's what God has chosen for you. That's the life that God's chosen for you.
[00:08:33] If you jump down, I'm gonna go over to verse, you know, I'm gonna jump over to Proverbs, chapter 16, verse 1. It says, the reasonings of the mind is from the man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.
[00:08:48] All the ways of a man are clean, his own eyes, but the Lord directs his way. And I think about this a lot. Your mind, you decide kind of where you're going. But it's God that directs the path. He cuts the path for you.
[00:09:03] I was. When I was thinking about in all ways I can do all things through Christ, which strengthens me. I thought about all these different paths that I have going on. All these different things I have. I have the working out thing, the way I want my body to look. I have the golf thing. I have work. I have our. Our actual family compound. I have the food thing going on where I want to make all our own meat. I want to have our grow. I don't even know if it's called growing, but I want to, you know, I want our own. Our own. I don't want it from other people.
[00:09:35] And then I have this, this thing going on, and God knows every single thing, and he's directing every single.
[00:09:43] Every single one of those.
[00:09:46] And it's beautiful because he cares about me.
[00:09:50] He cares about you. He cares about the things that are going on in your life.
[00:09:55] Verse 3. Commit your works to the Lord and he will establish your thoughts this is God saying that. Commit your life to God. Commit the things that you're doing, the things that you're laboring for to God. And he's going to establish your thoughts. And this also, this also has to do with tithing. You give 10% of your paycheck every day, every time, first to God.
[00:10:23] It's part of the deal. And he'll fill your barns full of abundance.
[00:10:28] And he talks about this.
[00:10:30] But part of that reverence is actually reverencing God. You give to God.
[00:10:36] It's all part of the game.
[00:10:38] Verse 4. All the works of the Lord are for those who will hearken to Him.
[00:10:45] Everything that God has for you are for those people who listen to the Word and follow what's he said, what he says.
[00:10:53] Where do you put your mind? Where do you put your thoughts? Where do you your put. Where are you in life?
[00:10:59] What do you trust in? Do you trust in your riches or do you trust in God?
[00:11:05] Where are you foundationally? What is firm in your life? Where do you stand?
[00:11:11] Who are you? Who are you going to be?
[00:11:14] It's about God. And when you start to focus on the things that matter, it's going to change who you are, what you think on. And the anxiety. You live in your life, you. You're not to live in anxiousness. Be not anxious for one thing, be not careful for one thing. But in all things, by prayers to God, with prayers of personal need or supplication, with thanksgiving, let your specific request be declared unto God. And the peace of God surpassing all thoughts will protect and it will protect your thoughts in Christ. Through Christ.
[00:11:50] Man, we live in a tremendous time, but where are you?
[00:11:53] You got to focus on the things that matter. And that's God.
[00:11:58] If I was yelling, I apologize. I usually don't do that in the morning. But I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you're excited about today. Pray the big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. [00:12:36] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. Thank you for kind of calming my mind down and getting me to a point where I'm not losing it. I thank you for just everything that's going on that you just show me the way to do it and how to do it.
