[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today, and I hope you are excited today, because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him. I had to work all weekend. That's right. If my voice is a little raspy, I apologize. We're gonna get through it. [00:00:32] I was reading over the weekend and I was reading over Ecclesiastes. And the thing is that when I was younger, I had all these expectations in life. I wanted to own a conglomerate. I wanted to be married super young and have kids. [00:00:49] There was all these things that I wanted and expected. And as I read and learned the Word, it really changed my mind and changed the way my perspective on life pretty much. And that's why the Word is so amazing. It's not natural, in my opinion. Well, it can't be. Spiritual things are spiritual, carnal things are carnal. But it's not in the five senses to just think of these things, to change your mind to what God wants you to think on. [00:01:17] And I want to go over a little bit of that today. If you go to Ecclesiastes, chapter 2, verse 1, it says just so, a little bit of context. This is written by Solomon. God blessed him with everything. He had everything in the world, everything one can want. [00:01:33] And this is what he thought on. He also had a lot of wisdom and knowledge. I said in my heart, go now. I will prove thee with mirth. Or that social merriment or high excitement of pleasurable things. Therefore. [00:01:46] Therefore enjoy pleasure. And behold, all is vanity. All is that. All is vanity. It's a. It's a puff for the win. If you're a person that thinks that. I mean, I think about this when it comes to traveling, you know, it's like a big thing if you're a person, is that thinks that excitement is going to fulfill you in life. All is Vanity, verse 2. I said of laughter. It is mad. And a mirth of that social merriment. What doeth it? I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, and yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom. So he. So he started with excitement and just said, what's the point of it? Then he goes to wine and drinking and enjoying himself with drinking. Yet he also kept his mind. He wasn't a Drunkard, he started to party. Though I sought in mine heart to give myself unto wine, yet acquainting mine heart with wisdom and to lay hold on folly till I might see what was that good for the sons of men which they should do under heaven all the days of their life. I made me great works. Now, so he partied, didn't work, went another way, went the work route. I made me great works. I multiplied my possession. I builded me houses, I planted me vineyards. I made me gardens and orchards, and I planted trees in them of all kinds of fruits. I made me pools of water to water therewith the wood that bringeth forth trees. I got me servants and maidens, and I had servants born in mine house. All also I had great possessions of great and small cattle above all that were in Jerusalem before me. [00:03:17] So he built everything. And I understand this because we live on a farm. I mean, to see that prosper like that. I mean, the amount of people that had to be doing this too is incredible. [00:03:27] This doesn't just happen in a lifetime. Like he was just bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam. I mean, the success of this man is incredible. [00:03:33] Verse 8. I gathered me also silver and gold and the peculiar treasure of kings and of the provinces. I gave me men singers and women singers and the delights of the sons of men as musical instruments and that of all sorts. So not only was he doing and building and growing, he was buying treasure, things to look on. Jewels, gems, cars. In our day, probably cars, nice houses, boats. [00:03:58] Verse 8. So I was great and increased more than all that were before me in Jerusalem. Also my wisdom remained within me. So he gathered and increased. And yet he still had his mind. [00:04:10] He still had his mind. Verse 10 and whatsoever mine eyes desired, I kept not from them. I withheld not my heart from any joy. For my heart rejoiced in all my labor. And this was my portion or my share of all my labor. [00:04:26] So he, anything he wanted. I mean, if you can think about that in your life, anything you wanted, he got, he took it. And what was in conclusions? [00:04:35] What was his conclusion? Then I looked at on all the possession or works that my hands had wrought, and on the labor that I had labored to do. And behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit. All was nonsense, all was a puff for the wind. [00:04:48] And there was no profit under the sun. [00:04:52] There is no profit gathering and building and growing. Especially if you don't have God. [00:04:57] The point of this life is to get to know God. Because in this life, in the five Senses. We. We were not created for that. [00:05:07] We were not created. God did not create us for this life. God created us to love him and for the next, for this kingdom that's coming. [00:05:17] That's what we're believing on. That's what Christ died for. I don't want to make this too long, but I want to jump down to verse 17. Because he talks about how the fool and the wise are all going to die. So he goes through everything he's bought. [00:05:31] Then he goes through how everyone's going to die. So what's the reason for being smart? What's the reason for really acquiring knowledge? [00:05:39] And then he goes to this. Yay. Or verse 17. Therefore, I hated life because the work that is wrought or produced under the sun is grievous unto me. For all is vanity and vexation of spirit. Yea, I hated all my labor which I have taken under the sun because I should leave it unto a man that shall be after me. So not only is he upset about working, is not sad, satisfying, and how everybody's gonna die. Then he started hating his labor because you're giving it to somebody who might be a fool. [00:06:11] Your child might be a fool if you don't. If you don't raise them up with God. If you don't raise him up in your life the right way. [00:06:18] The point is, is like, what are you setting your mind to? Do you care about the things that really don't matter? [00:06:25] It's all about God. Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and these things shall be added unto you. The purpose of our life. And every time I hear people say, I don't know. Purpose is like, are you. Dude, the purpose is to find God. [00:06:38] The purpose of your life is to build a relationship with God and know who he is. [00:06:44] And find that love, find that grace, find that peace, because it's there for you right now. It's there for you right now. I want to finish up with this verse 24. For there is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink and that he should make his soul enjoy the good of his labor. This also, I saw that it was from the hand of God. [00:07:05] He had everything in life. And he figured out that there is nothing better than that you should eat and that you should drink and that you should make your soul enjoy the good of your labor, enjoy the little things of life, because those actually are the big things. Those are the things that matter. [00:07:23] Find God. Have a great day. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus. Christ again. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. You pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:07:48] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything that you do for us and how you do it. I'm very, very grateful for the moments of my life. I pray for a great day today, that it's a blessing for my my brother and sister in law that you take care of them. I also ask and pray that you just show me how to figure out these SEOs that we can get back up on the top and that it's a blessing. I also thank you for the next couple months. You just kind of remove the fear that I have towards the financial side of it and that I can just continually rely on you and I thank you that we can do that and go to you. I also pray for each and every one of your believers today and for a great day and I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
