[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning.
[00:00:02] Speaker B: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is a day that the Lord hath made.
[00:00:13] Speaker A: We will be glad.
[00:00:14] Speaker B: We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice. Praise, Praise him and thank him. So I, I did a, I have.
[00:00:27] Speaker A: A, I'm in a men's group thing that we read the Word and break.
[00:00:30] Speaker B: Stuff down and it's been a real bless.
A couple things came up last night that I was kind of thrilled with, but I was reading in John. I did this last night for them. It was about prayer and there was questions about pray. Praying is to pray out loud. When you pray, you pray out loud, you pray to God and you lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. You don't pray to Jesus Christ, it won't go anywhere. You pray to God and there's a couple places in here.
[00:00:56] Speaker A: But I wanted to go over this really quick.
[00:00:58] Speaker B: If you go to chapter or John, chapter 16, verse.
[00:01:04] Speaker A: Boy, where was it?
[00:01:06] Speaker B: Verse 23, it says, and in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Now this has to do with him, like he's going to die. And he's telling them beforehand, like, hey, I'm not going to be here.
And the day that I'm not going to be here, you're not going to ask me anything. Verily, verily, I say unto you, what whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
This is where this belief, praying and lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ, you're praying in his name.
Verse 24. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name. Up until this point you asked nothing in my name. What was going on is they would ask Jesus Christ to pray. Like pray for healing, pray for the sickness, pray to cast out devils, pray. They would ask him and he would go to God and do it. But at this point you're not going to be asking me anymore. Jesus Christ said, you're going to be asking God. But you ask in my name, he will give it to you. Verse 24. Hitherto have you asked nothing in my name. Ask and ye shall receive. Now this receive is the word lombano and it's receiving what is given.
You're not just going to receive, you're going to receive whatever God gives. But the point is, is that your joy may be full.
God does this for joy. God is not a God of. I mean, he does it for. For you, for the joy of your heart.
He's not going to be there to punish and, you know, to do all these bad things. He wants the best for you, as a father wants for his son.
So this is where it talks about that believing prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. If you go to Ephesians, chapter 3, verse 20, it says now unto him, and this is now unto God, who is able to do infinitely beyond abundance above all that we ask. And this ask is the beg or supplicate or to prayer or to pray for something or think according to the power, the inherent power that worketh in us.
I just love the fact that when you pray, you're praying to God and God is able to do infinitely above anything you ask or think. And he's doing it for your joy, for your peace.
And when you pray, you have to believe. And that's another part that I think I went over a couple days ago. You got to believe God's going to take care of it, but you got to be thankful for whatever it is God gives you. Because everything is according to his desired will. And I'll show you why if you go to. Or I'll show you where this is written if you go to First John, verse 5, or I'm sorry, chapter 5, verse 14.
And this is the confidence that we have in him or towards him, that if we ask, and this is ask for something to be given anything according to his will or his desire. He heareth us. And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have petitions that we desired of him.
You gotta know what God wants for you. You gotta know God's desired will for you. God's gonna take care of you. One of the verses I went over last night that just always blesses me has to do with don't think about tomorrow. Tomorrow will think about the things of itself. If you find yourself thinking on things of tomorrow and being freaked out about things of tomorrow, stop.
Pray for the things of today. Because generally, if you.
That betters the sight of the eyes and the wandering of the desire. Generally, if you look on the things of today, you have what you need now.
God's take care of taking care of what you need now and knowing that God's doing it, that your joy may be full is a blessing. Sometimes these prayers come and you don't know what you're asking. For why? And you receive and you're like, what was I thinking? Why did I pray for this stuff? God's going to give you things. It's. It's just part of life, man.
[00:05:04] Speaker A: It's.
[00:05:05] Speaker B: He is there for you as a father and he loves you. But you got to pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. And you lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. The day and the minute he died, it changed the administration. When he rose again at the ascension, it completely changed the administration.
You are a son of God. The moment you believe in the name of Jesus Christ and receive the Holy Spirit. Have a great day today. Again, pray the big prayers, pray the small prayers. Pray for every single thing that's going.
[00:05:36] Speaker A: On in your life.
[00:05:37] Speaker B: Yeah, and have a good one. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:05:50] Speaker A: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I just pray that everything gets done with this gym, that this thing is off my, off my shoulders, that it's finished and that the room, I don't know, whatever you need to do, make that room big enough and make it just perfect for what we're doing. I thank you for that and I thank you that I can just rely on you for that. And I'm not worried about the room size. I thank you for the, the people you put in my life, for those believers that were on last night and how much of a blessing it is and just the next steps and where that's going.
[00:06:21] Speaker B: I pray for the day to day.
[00:06:23] Speaker A: And always for the business that you just show me kind of what to do with that, that we can continually grow in that way and financially grow.
[00:06:32] Speaker B: And again, I just thank you for.
[00:06:33] Speaker A: The moments of my life for put around my family and around the people that I see every day. And I'm just very, very grateful for that position. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
