[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually. Give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him. Thank him every day. Pray out loud. That's what the word pray means. But I. Yesterday was my brother's 40th and my sister in law asked everybody to sit down and write a good memory about him. You know, a memory that they have of him, a fun memory. And then she compiled all of it and put it into a book. Well, I was, I was thinking about it and man, I'm just so thankful for what God's done for me as far as having my brother stand side by side with me every day, working, living, and just kind of moving forward. And I was thinking about how God has done more and supplied more than I even knew I needed. And he's going to do that in your life when you turn to him and you stick to him.
[00:01:08] The reason why I teach, the reason why I do this is because I want everyone to have that same relationship that I have with God, the same trust I have with God, so that they don't have to fear in life.
[00:01:20] And when they start seeing that God's giving them and what God's providing for them, you can't, you can't go back. It's like you, you see it and you see it and you see it and it's like, wow, I just, I cannot believe this is what God's given me. And I'm just very, very thankful for it.
[00:01:37] So I was reading anyways in Psalms today and it's about trust. And I'm going to do as much as I can because I did this, this teaching yesterday actually. But if you go to chapter 62, and I've gone over this a lot, but I love this chapter or this verse 62, verse 5, it says, My soul, thou in silence only upon God. For my expectation or the state of expecting is from him.
[00:01:59] There's so many words that you have in your mind. There's so many things that, that you have going on always, unless you don't. But in general I think a lot. But I love that he's asking God and he's saying, my soul wait in silence upon God. Like wait for God. Because the state of expecting what's going to be good in the future. The hope he's gonna. He's given me. So just be silent and enjoy life. Better is the sight of the eyes and the wandering of the desires. Better that you enjoy what you see now and living now than it is in the future.
[00:02:31] He truly is my rock. And that rock is a symbol for firmness in my salvation. He is my defense. I shall not be moved in God is my salvation and my glory. The rock of my strength and my refuge is in God and confide or trust in him at all times. Ye people, pour out your heart before him.
[00:02:53] You have to trust and confide in God, not in men, in God. Right now we're working on something. We're chained. We're working on one of our businesses and changing something. And it's scary, man. It's like, here we go again. It's, you know, everything's on the table again.
[00:03:10] But you have to trust that God's going to give you direction and in. In that trust and you don't live in fear.
[00:03:18] So I looked up the word trust because of that. I was looking kind of jumping around. If you go to chapter 37, verse 7, or verse 1, excuse me. It says, fret not thyself because of evildoers. Neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquities or transgressions.
[00:03:33] I see so much of this stuff, and it's hard for me to keep my mind straight about watching people, watching evildoers, watching evil permeate throughout our country.
[00:03:44] And you see it everywhere. And if you know, I'm like. But it says, fret not thyself because of it.
[00:03:51] Don't get upset. Don't be worried. Don't be weighed down with vexation. He that's higher than the highest seeth it.
[00:03:58] Verse 2. For they shall soon be cut down like grass and wither as the green herb.
[00:04:03] Everything's getting wiped out. And honestly, this life is but temporal. So if you can remember that, it helps you through stuff. Verse 3. Trust or confide in the Lord and do good. So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
[00:04:19] There are consequences to your actions in life. Now you are righteous. So the laws has the laws pertain to righteousness, whether or not you're going to heaven or not, whether or not you're a son of God, whether or not the Spirit is given to you. The minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, once that happens, you're righteous. That's not going away.
[00:04:37] But the acts in your life do have and cause effect in your life, but the point is, is that you trust in God, do good in God's eyes, and you shall be fed.
[00:04:49] And excuse me, so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Verse 4. Delight thyself also in the Lord and he shall give you the desires or the petitions of thine heart.
[00:05:03] Now, the heart is the seed of your distinctive character. It's what makes you you again.
[00:05:09] So he thinketh as he is. The things that you think about are what and who you are. And people could see that stuff.
[00:05:16] But the point is, is you commit your way to God, you trust in him, he shall bring it to pass.
[00:05:23] The desires of your heart, you just confide in God and you learn to love God and learn to have a relationship with God.
[00:05:32] Verse 5. Commit thy ways unto the Lord, trust in him, and he shall bring it to path past. And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light and thy judgment as the noonday. Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him.
[00:05:47] Wait for God is the point today.
[00:05:50] Trust in God, confide in God, talk to God, Let him know what's going on. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, you pray to God.
[00:06:00] That word is praying to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. You never pray to Jesus Christ. Christ told you not to to stop in the. In the Gospels. Anyways, have a great day today. God bless you and your family. Talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:17] I will be coming home.
[00:06:28] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I pray for everything that's going on, that you just guide the way and that we do the right thing. I also pray for the furniture and that this whole thing that you just take care of this situation, all the employees, obviously you take care of them and just what's going on in the future. I thank you for each and every moment that I have in this life. I thank you for my brother, that he's been safe. And I pray for the brain and all that stuff that you take care of it. And my sister in South Sudan, that you just take care of that situation and protect her. And I just thank you again for each and every moment of my life and for the great things that you've provided. I lift it all up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
