[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. Be joyful. Be ye joyous.
[00:00:27] Enjoy the trial of your faith. I was reading this morning and I always just laugh that, you know the most important thing is that trial.
[00:00:35] The most important thing in your life. At least that's what God says. If you go to Second Peter, or it's actually first Peter verse or chapter one, verse six, it says, wherein or in which ye greatly rejoice, though for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness, or grieved through manifold temptations. Verse 7.
[00:00:56] In order that the trial of your faith, and this is your tested faith, being much more precious, precious than that of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found to praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.
[00:01:14] The trial of your faith is the most important thing. And you're going to go through ups and downs and all arounds. But you got to get to the point where you just trust that God's going to take care of it. Tribulation, it affects your patience. That patience, that patient enduring, which is experience and experience hope. And hope will never cause shame. The expectation of future good, which is what hope means, will never cause you shame in life.
[00:01:43] You got to get to the point where you renew and renovate your mind to the word.
[00:01:48] It's important.
[00:01:50] But anyways, I was reading this morning in second Peter and I always love this because it there are steps to this.
[00:01:59] There are steps in life. Number one, you have to believe in the name of Jesus Christ that if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart, God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto safety, salvation and preservation. That's number one. You believe in the name of Jesus Christ. You're born spiritually new. You are righteous at that moment with God. You cannot take that away.
[00:02:27] But after that you get to choose. Stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free, and be not entangled again with the weight or the yoke or bondage of servitude to the law. You can move anywhere you want to, but whatever you choose, whatever course of life you choose, there are consequences to it. You either walk in the five senses, the carnal nature, or which walks towards corruption or the state of death, or you walk towards a spiritual nature. And that comes through understanding the Word.
[00:02:56] You understand the Word and you put those thoughts in your mind. But if you go to second Peter chapter one, and if you jump down to verse five, it says, and besides this, giving all diligence or speed or haste, add to your faith.
[00:03:13] Now, the first thing is faith.
[00:03:16] Faith is specifically believing what you hear. And I've already gone through what the words of faith are that you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, but you add to your faith virtue. And virtue is moral excellence.
[00:03:30] It's standing and it's upholding what God tells you to do through law.
[00:03:35] But you're not judged by that.
[00:03:39] I've been talking a lot about this because it, it's been weighing on me, but I finally understand what this is like, how it works.
[00:03:48] Romans 2, chapter 9 says tribulation and anguish to all those that perform evil. Essentially it's tribulation and anguish. And tribulation is pressure and affliction and distress and conflicts upon every soul of man that doeth evil.
[00:04:07] There are consequences to your walk, but it's not through God in the sense of you are righteous the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, but you stand upright because it's goodness, it helps you in life.
[00:04:25] Add to your faith, virtue or moral excellence. And to virtue knowledge. And this is knowledge, it's experiential knowledge.
[00:04:36] You have to have an experiential knowledge of God. You have to experience God coming through in your life.
[00:04:43] You have to experience believing, having that firm reliance, that what God's going to, what God says He's going to do, he's going to do. And when you witness it over and over and over again, that's where you, you, you turn, you start to learn that experience which ultimately leads to the expectation of future good or hope.
[00:05:03] So besides this giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue and to virtue, knowledge and to knowledge, temperance, which is self control.
[00:05:12] Now, I could go through this because it goes, there's like seven or eight of them, and it ends up going into brotherly love, just loving one another.
[00:05:19] But there are steps. If you're a babe in the Word and you're a babe in believing, you're a child in this stuff, you gotta start to renew and renovate your mind to what The Word says, pick a verse and stick to it. Think on that verse. I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me. That's a phenomenal one.
[00:05:36] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. So if you deal with something today where it's negative or it's against you and you're getting pounded like we're getting pounded right now with work, I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. I know that God is going to take care of it.
[00:05:55] Be anxious or be cautious for not. It's careless, but be anxious for not one thing.
[00:06:00] So if you find yourself being anxious, you have to renew your mind.
[00:06:04] It's beautiful what God gave us. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. Pray the small prayers. Let God know what's going on in your life. In all thy ways, acknowledge him and he shall direct thy path. Pray the big prayers, Pray the small prayers, but you pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Have a great day. God bless you and your family.
[00:06:29] Talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:30] Let your soul and spirit fly into the mistake.
[00:06:43] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today. I thank you for waking up early, I guess, and getting to read. I pray for everything that's going on, that this new lathe gets put in, that it's good that the old lathe gets fixed and that's a blessing that Terry's taken care of in his new position, that the new guy Brian, that you just bless him and that as we move forward, all these processes get cleaned up. I thank you for my family, for my brother, take care of him and the travel, my sister in law for everything that's on their plate. I thank you again for my family and just what you've provided for me and for the financial increase. I'm very, very thankful for that. And yeah, I pray for a great day today. Lift everything up to you in the name my Lord and savior Christ Jesus.
