[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him. Thank him. Be joyful. I man, we are like the business. We are just in this, like, really stressful time. And I gotta be honest with you, it's been like that pretty much for me since November. And it's just been different waves of stress. And yesterday I lost it on my brother. And the thing is, is that, you know, for some reason he's the one I take it out on, which is ludicrous. I'm working on, like, I'm trying to figure out how to.
[00:00:48] To deal with stress in a way where I don't. I do not get anyone involved, including employees, family, any of that kind of stuff.
[00:00:57] But good luck, like, because I'm. I externalize things. But anyways, so I'm trying to work that out. But the thing is, is that I was reading this morning and I read this and I'm like, oh, man. Like, God always seems, if you read every day, if you make it a point in your life to read every day, God will spank you constantly because you'll pick up the Bible and it's like, wap. It has everything to do with you in that moment.
[00:01:22] So that's what I'm going to go over today. But I was reading, I've been. I've been jumping around with different Bibles. There's the Lambsa, which I really enjoy. And this is the Berkeley New Modern Language one that I really like.
[00:01:32] But for studying purposes, I always use King James Version. However, I'm going to go over this. If you go to chapter three of Colossians, verse one, it says, if then ye have be. If you then have been raised with Christ, seek those things which are above where Christ is seated on the right hand of God.
[00:01:49] Apply your mind to things above, not to things on the earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, makes his appearance, then we also will appear in glory with him.
[00:02:06] God's telling you, set your affections on things above.
[00:02:10] You got to look on the new heavens that's coming on God.
[00:02:15] And there's a reason for that, because really what's happening right now and what goes on in the earth. I mean, it's insane what's happening, especially if you just see the truth. It's. It's the most. I mean, it's wild where humans go.
[00:02:31] If you jump down to verse, verse five, it says, therefore put to death whatever in your nature belongs to the earth. Immorality, impurity, passion, evil, desire, evil and greediness, which is idolatry. On account of them. God's anger will come at some point. People will be judged by these things that are carnal in nature.
[00:02:55] Now, if you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are righteous. So it doesn't matter what you do in the sense of that's the standard. That's the line in the state, in the sand. That's what Christ came for.
[00:03:07] Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you're righteous. But it doesn't change the fact that, that you got to put these things off, these things in the carnal nature.
[00:03:15] If you jump down to verse eight, but now you must also put all these things away. Anger, bad temper, malice, slander, shameful language.
[00:03:26] You know, of course, anger is the first one that I read, like, oh, man. Because yesterday I'm telling you it was ludicrous. The level at which I went at my brother, it should have been at like a 2. I was at probably an 8 or a 9, maybe even a 10.
[00:03:41] But a God immediately, like smacks me.
[00:03:45] And then you jump over to this verse 9. Do not lie one to another. Since you have stripped off the old nature with its practices and have put on the new self who is being renewed in a full knowledge in the likeness of him who created him. That's that new spiritual nature.
[00:04:07] You have the new spiritual nature the minute you put on the or the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. But you have to choose to put it on in your life.
[00:04:16] You choose the things you think on. You choose to react to anger like I did. I chose to react the way I reacted, regardless of whether or not it was just emotional, I still chose it. You have to choose to renew and renovate your mind. And in those times, like I should have sat down and prayed and calm my mind down. Good luck. Anyway, it's a jump down to verse 12. Therefore, as God's chosen, set apart and enjoy his love, enjoying his love. Clothe yourselves with tenderness of heart, kindness, humility, gentleness, patient endurance. Bear with one another and forgive each other in case one has a grievance against another.
[00:05:02] Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so do you, but crown it all with love, which is the perfect bond of union. And let the peace of Christ to. To which you were called in one body arbitrate. Or be the judge in your hearts and be thankful.
[00:05:21] That's the stuff you put on. And how different is it than anger and wrath and malice? All these things you got to put on. And you have to choose to put on love. You have to choose to clothe your mind with kindness and humility and gentleness and patient, enduring.
[00:05:42] You choose that. What are you choosing to put on? What are you thinking about?
[00:05:48] You have to renovate the inside of your thoughts.
[00:05:52] And you have to choose to put on the word. Pick a verse.
[00:05:56] In all thy ways, acknowledge it. You know, trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not into thine own understanding.
[00:06:02] There's that verse. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. There's that verse. You could choose any one of these verses and set your life to it and revolve that in your mind. You get to choose in life. That's the beautiful thing about God.
[00:06:18] Pray. The big prayers today lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ.
[00:06:21] You always pray to God. You never pray to Jesus Christ. It won't go anywhere. It's antithetical to the word. Christ told his disciples not to.
[00:06:32] You pray to God. You lift it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:06:51] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for everything you do for us. I pray for my brother, that you just take care of him on his drive today, that you just bless that drive. Make it quick. I also pray and ask for guidance when it comes to this whole process with the stumps, the lathe, that we can get everything figured out, that those nine pieces get done and that there are no mistakes and that we can finish them up for the clients and that they're happy that you just kind of COVID us during this time. I also pray for the business, for the growth of the business, for everybody that's involved with us, that you just take care of them for your believers. And I'm very, very thankful for your son, that he died for us, that we can live this way. I lift up a great day to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
