[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:24] So I have a long day ahead of me, a hugely long day of work ahead of me. And I'm praying that God will just get me through this day because it's gonna be br. Brutal, I believe, although I'm not going to confess it, but I've been reading and again, I've been reading this in the, the modern language. It's a. [00:00:42] When I'm working on a macro concept, a big concept, I like to read things that are easily. You could just kind of read a translation that's easier or more pertinent to our language. The King James version, however, is phenomenal for like word studies. And if you really want to get into what the word says, because it's specific, it's the most specific and has the most type of study tools for like the Chaldean and the Greek and all that stuff. So I usually prefer that. However, I've been reading this Berkeley, and this is. I just. This was phenomenal. I came about this today. I know everybody's dealing with stuff like when you go through life, you deal with things and what we've received is the faith that we have now. And there's people before us who, who, who, who didn't receive the. The. Didn't receive that stuff. Like Abraham never received the thing that he was going for, which he would be a father of many nations. He never saw that. He never saw the promised land. But his children did. [00:01:42] His children did. And God is, is always there. He always does what he says he's going to do. [00:01:49] Now, I was reading in 12, chapter 12 of Hebrews, but you have to have a little bit of context. And if you go to 23, this just blew me away this morning. It says by faith, Moses, when he was born, was hidden by his parents for three months because they saw he was a beautiful child and they were not afraid of the king's order. [00:02:09] By faith, Moses, when he reached maturity, refused to be called a son of Pharaoh's daughter and preferred sharing ill treatment with the people of God rather than enjoying the short lived pleasures of sin. [00:02:24] Now, I have never thought of this, but he, he was like the son. He was considered a son of the Pharaoh, of Pharaoh's daughter. Do you know what type of lordship and position he had? What type of wealth he had? [00:02:40] I think. I mean, I think about life like through. And this is not a good and accurate way of thinking about life, but by how successful I am. [00:02:48] Look, I think God's there with me by like the success I have. [00:02:53] And it talks about it in the word that you're not even to look at it like that. It doesn't. Just because you had gained does not mean godliness. Just because you have somebody who's doing well and believes in God, that does not mean they have that true and personal relationship with God. [00:03:09] Because it's an outward expression of something that's an inward manifestation. [00:03:14] It's inward. Your relationship with God. It's not based on some external thing. [00:03:21] And I just think it's incredible to understand what Moses gave up. By faith, by believing, by having a firm reliance in God. [00:03:31] We have the thing that God promised to us, which is a sonship. You have that the moment you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. The people before didn't have that. And there are people that by faith never received the thing that God had for them, although they did when they passed. Abraham received. He is the father of many nations. He is the father of believers. Do you know huge that is in life? [00:03:58] Not the little dainty things like a house or a property or a business. Like that doesn't matter. [00:04:05] He is the father of believers. What an incredible standing with God. And yet God is not a respecter of persons. [00:04:14] You have just the same amount. You have more. You have the spirit the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ. Now I've gone on a lot to get to the point to read chapter 12. You go to chapter 12, verse one. [00:04:27] It says of Hebrews. It says so. Then, encircled as we are, with such a great cloud of witnesses all about us, let us get rid of every impediment and the sin that ensnares us so easily. And let us run steady the course mapped out for us with our eyes on Jesus, the cause and completer of our faith, who in view of the joy that lay ahead of him, submitted to the cross, thought nothing of the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God. Compare your experience with his, who was willing to stand so much hostility from the sinners against himself, so that you may not become weary and despondent. [00:05:12] He died for you in order that you can live with God. Right now you have the promise. [00:05:20] And it's a beautiful state to be in. I'm not even gonna go with what I was gonna go today. It talks about correction, which is hilarious, and how, you know you gotta deal with it. But you've received what people have waited for before. You have the thing now. [00:05:35] And all it takes is believing, believing in the name of his son, that thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart. God raised him from the dead. Thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. [00:05:50] Salvation. You're a son of God that minute. And you've received the things that the people before you waited for. [00:05:57] We live in a tremendous time. Be thankful for that. Regardless of what's going on in the world, regardless of what's going on in your life, you are a blessed generation. You are a blessed person. And if you don't feel that way, you got to change your mind. [00:06:12] You are in control of your thoughts. It's not the other way around. [00:06:15] Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, you don't ask Christ, you pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ with thanksgiving. Have a great day today. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:06:42] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much for today. I do pray for energy that I can just pop through everything that needs to get done. I pray for that stump, that stupid stump that it comes out right and I didn't waste it and it doesn't put anybody under pressure. I thank you for the. Just the time in my life. I thank you for the people you put in my life and the position you've placed me in and how you've just covered every single thing that I've needed covered. Word. I thank you for my family, for your believers, for your Word. I pray for those that come to fellowship and that little men's study that you take care of them and for everybody that listens to this, that you just bless them and, yeah, if there's anything I can do, you just put that on my heart. I just lift up a great day to you. In the name my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
