[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. [00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? [00:00:06] Speaker A: I hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today, because [00:00:10] Speaker B: today is the day the Lord hath made. [00:00:12] Speaker A: We'll be glad. [00:00:12] Speaker B: We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:22] Speaker A: I'm finally getting better. [00:00:24] Speaker B: It is a miracle. It's been forever, so I'm just so grateful for that. But I was reading today in Romans, and first and foremost, if you can pray for my buddy Rob, I'd appreciate that he had at least something going on with his heart, and we'd be grateful as a family and as a group of believers if you do that. [00:00:45] Speaker A: But I wanted to go over Romans [00:00:47] Speaker B: 12, and I don't know, I just [00:00:48] Speaker A: happened to hit this, and there's just [00:00:50] Speaker B: so much good stuff in here. I'm not really sure where to start. [00:00:54] Speaker A: If you go to chapter 12, verse 2, it says, and be not conformed or shaped or fashioned to this world, but be ye transformed or alter one's bearings by the renewing or the renovation of the mind to your proving what is good and well pleasing and acceptable and perfect will of God. How do you renew and renovate your thoughts? It's by the Word. And I keep going back to this stuff because I'm realizing how, like, how much this will affect you when you start to apply it. You know, if you reflect on your life or as I reflect, it's like, why does the Bible mean so much to me? Why is it so important? And it's important because I chose to believe what was in here, not just to read it, not just to kind of go over it, in and out, whatever. I chose to believe and apply what God says to do in my life. And if there was something that was wrong, if there's something that I was doing that wasn't applicable, if there was something I was doing that needed change, I did everything in my. In my power to change it. Now, we're all human. [00:02:09] Speaker B: Things happen. I mean, come on, now. [00:02:11] Speaker A: I definitely do not walk perfect, even to the slightest. But that's what. When you start to renovate your mind to what God says, and you start to renew your mind, and you start to put on God's word and start to walk that way, it's spiritual. The Word is spiritual. It is not made out from the origins of man. It is not carnal. It is not out from the origins of the five senses. It's spiritual, it's out from God. It's his word, it's his inner thoughts towards our reconnection. If you go to verse nine, I'm [00:02:46] Speaker B: gonna jump over the verse nine. [00:02:48] Speaker A: Let love be without dissimulation or unfiend or without hypocrisy. Abhor the evil, cleave to the good. Don't be hypocritical. When you love somebody, don't hold on, don't, don't. Don't let it be jaded. It's not. Again, I'm not saying this stuff's easy, but it's what you're supposed it's the way God wants you to look at life because he doesn't look at you through the prism of jaded. He looks at you as spotless. You're a breath, you're an aroma of his son, Christ Jesus. He looks at you in uprightness and in goodness and he wants the best for you. And that's the way we're to look on other people. Be kindly affectioned like a family, one to another, with brotherly love, in honor, preferring one another. And that phrase is in every honorable matter, leading one another on. How do you lead somebody? Do you take care of people? Do you actually care? Do you actually care if it's not your immediate family, if it's not your kids, if it's not your wife, if it's not your. Do you actually care about the well being of other people? Because God tells us to do so. And if you don't, you got to renew and renovate your mind. Not slothful. Verse 11. Not slow or tardy in business or serious purpose. Fervent or boiling hot in the spirit serving the Lord? You're not slow, you're not tardy. You show up. You show up with serious purpose. You're not lazy. God tells us not to be lazy in life. Are you a lazy person? Change. Change. Start changing your habits. Verse 13 or verse 12. Rejoicing in hope, which is that expectation of future good. Patient in tribulation, continuing instant in in prayer, being steadfast in prayer. Do you go to God? Do you face God? Do you pray to God? Is that part of your life? Is that part of your routine? When you hit something that's wrong, are you going to God? Do you know he's there for you? Or are you spinning out? Do you rejoice in the expectation of future good? Or do you live your life in anxiety? You choose the way you walk in life you choose the course of life. You choose the things you think about. If you don't like them, change what you're thinking on. Think on the word. Get out of the bondage. It's in our minds. You're no longer under the servitude of the law. You have the freedom. Stand in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free. And be not entangled again with the weight or yoke or bondage to the law. That servitude to the law, you're freed from living in condemnation. But do you live free? That's a choice. And this word will free you from that stuff. Pray the big prayers today. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, it's always to God. It's never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ and have yourself a beautiful day. God bless you and your family. [00:06:06] Speaker B: I'll talk to you tomorrow. Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today and for the things that you give us. I. I pray for Rob and I. I pray for his heart and that whole situation that you take care of it, that you lower the inflammation. I thank you just for the wisdom and understanding towards that, towards that situation. I constantly and am always grateful for my brother and I pray for his. His hand that you get that back to 100%. I thank you for the people that you bring and put in our lives and how much you've always taken care of me and for the moments of my life. I pray that you open every door and close every door that needs to be opened and obviously close those doors that need to be closed. And again, I thank you for your son and what he did for us in order that we can live this way. And I'm very, very grateful for your word and how much it's been a blessing and how much it is a blessing. [00:07:05] Speaker A: I just lift up a great day [00:07:06] Speaker B: to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
