[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. [00:00:02] Speaker B: Good morning. [00:00:03] Speaker A: How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? [00:00:06] Speaker B: Hope you're having a great day today. [00:00:07] Speaker A: I hope you are excited today because today's the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. [00:00:12] Speaker B: We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you [00:00:15] Speaker A: have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. [00:00:21] Speaker B: Praise. Praise him and thank him. [00:00:23] Speaker A: Another day, another week. [00:00:25] Speaker B: I'm trying to control my mind. I have an enormously busy week this week. [00:00:31] Speaker A: But that praying thing, giving it to God, putting it in his hands. One of the things I pray to God and have been asking for years [00:00:39] Speaker B: ago is I want to get good at golf. [00:00:40] Speaker A: It makes me crazy that I was an athlete and I never played golf. And I really wanted to get good at it, and I gave myself 10 years. Well, I'm in year eight or nine, and I had prayed about it, and this week or this year, I was coming out of the gates pretty good. And then I got this lesson accidentally, and it just threw me out. And for those of you who golf, you know exactly what I'm talking about. I have this thought, I can't get it out of my head, and it's destroying my golf game, making me crazy. And the last couple weeks, I changed something that all of a sudden everything is starting to come together. And I was thinking about this and how God, you know, sometimes the path. You might not understand the path that God puts you on. And sometimes, you know, you think that it's just like for me in this golf, you think it would just be a progression of getting better and better and better and better. But really, it's been an up and down, up and down, up and down. And I'm not really sure why that is. But God, it's wild to me because had I not taken that lesson and had I not got screwed up, I wouldn't be getting to this next phase. And I think it's kind of an allegory for life and the way God works with you. You can ask God for something and you can have an expectation of the way he's going to drive you there or get you there, and it completely doesn't turn out that way. And yet somehow you get there and you're more blessed. Going through the trials and the tribulations of getting to that point, the trial of your faith is the most important thing. And knowing that God's there for you even in times of tribulation, is a good thing to know. And honestly, I Wasn't going to go [00:02:17] Speaker B: over this, but I'm going to jump. I'm going to go over this really quick. [00:02:20] Speaker A: In chapter five of Romans, and not only so, but we rejoice also in tribulation or the afflictions. Knowing that tribulation or the afflictions, it affects your patience or your patient enduring and patience experience, which is the state of having been tried, and experience hope, which is the expectation of future good. And hope. That expectation of future good will not cause shame. We have a good God, man. We have a good God. And when you give reverence to God and when you give that reverential awe to God, you're going to see him more in your life every time. If you go to Ephesians, chapter 1, verse 17, it says that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the Spirit, that is to say, the Spirit of wisdom and, and the revelation or the unveiling or the uncovering of the knowledge or being acquainted with him, that the eyes of your understanding, being enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope or the expectation of future good of his calling and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance. In the saints, you have an inheritance right now. And the more you have, I mean, they're praying and asking God to give people the understanding, the enlightenment to see God working and operating in their life. God is operating in your life more than you, more than you know, even in the background, all the time. Especially when you have reverential awe towards God. Especially when in all thy ways, you're acknowledging Him. In all thy ways, acknowledge him and he shall absolutely direct your path. Confide or trust in the Lord with all thine heart. You got to trust in God. And I'm telling you the other thing, the big thing, putting this stuff in his hands immediately, giving God what's going on, the thoughts that you're having, not just the big situations, the day by day, the moment by moment, thoughts that throw you out. Recognizing those thoughts and putting that situation in his hand is going to change your life. Because the peace of God surpassing all understanding will protect you. It's praying to God constantly. It's a wonderful thing to do. I hope you're having a great day today. Pray. The big prayers lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. When you pray, and these are specific prayers, these aren't generic. You pray to God, lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. You never pray to Jesus Christ, pray to God, lifting up in the name of Jesus Christ and Have yourself a beautiful day. God bless you and your family. [00:05:02] Speaker B: Talk to you tomorrow. Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much just for today. I pray for everything that's going on, for the enormity of. Of what's going out this week and what we have to do that you make it easy. I pray that all the new tools and everything are the right tools and that it gets set up and that [00:05:31] Speaker A: it, you know, cleans up the space. [00:05:33] Speaker B: I thank youk for the people we have working with us, that we can get through the things that need to get done. And I'm just very, very grateful for your son and what he did for us, that he died for us, that we can live this way, and for those who've worked the Word before and how much of a blessing they are. And I thank you again for what he did for us, that we live in this spiritual life, and it's not about your acts. I'm grateful for that, and I just lift up a great day to you in the name of Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
