Love and show reverence to your neighbor – Colossians 3:12-13, Colossians 3:17

Colossians 3:12-13

¹² Put on therefore, as the elect (chosen) of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies (subjective compassion felt on witnessing misfortune), kindness (sweetness of disposition, inspire of gratitude), humbleness of mind (modesty… conceding to others all due respect or even more than they expect or require) meekness, longsuffering (long before anger, patient endurance);

¹³ Forbearing (to hold up) one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel (complaint or an occasion to blame) against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Colossians 3:17

¹⁷ And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by (through) him.
