[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day that the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will. Rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. [00:00:21] Speaker B: Praise. [00:00:21] Speaker A: Praise him and thank him. Yeah, I'm still in it. I'm still. I'm reading a lot right now. I know I haven't been on teachings, but I'm reading a ton. And I just kind of need the time to get that juice going again, you know? And for me, anytime I go through a difficult time or a time of struggle, I always find comfort in reading the Word. And I just suggest doing that if you don't read the Word for yourself. ESV the English Standard Version is an easier version than the King James, but I would suggest reading the King James Version, starting, like Proverbs or Ecclesiastes. It's easy to understand. I mean, maybe not necessarily the way it's written, but after you do it a while, it'll start to open up to you. And once it does, it's just. [00:01:06] Speaker B: It's tremendous. [00:01:07] Speaker A: But I was reading this morning and listening to a bunch of stuff, and I wanted to go over this. If you go to Philippians, chapter four, verse, usually I go over to verse six, which is be anxious for not one thing. But if you go down to verse eight, this is what God tells us to think on. Finally, brethren, we. Whatsoever things are true, which is the opposite of false. Whatsoever things are honest or dignified, whatsoever things are just or righteous, Whatsoever things are pure from every defilement. Whatsoever things are lovely, Whatsoever things are of good report. If there be any virtue or good or quality or excellence, and if there be any praise to God, think on these things. And it's take account of these things. It's very easy to think on the good just as much as you think on the negative. And this is, for me, you know, when I talk about this stuff, this is what I'm going through. It's easy to think on failure and not on what could happen, the goodness of what could happen. For me, over the years, God's always come through, and yet I somehow get into the negative. And the thing is, it kind of freaks me out because it talks about the thing which he greatly feared came upon him. That was Job. And I have a fear of failure, you know, a fear of not being Successful which is not out from the origins of God and is not godly. So my mind is constantly going back into the. I constantly have to change it to the positive. Whatsoever things are true or the opposite of false. It's easy to think on the things and the times that God has come through. Whatsoever things are honest or dignified. I know that in all things I can do all things. Through Christ who strengthened me. All things, whatsoever things are just, are righteous. The Word is righteous. The Word is just. The Word cleans up your mind, cleans up your life. Whatsoever things are pure. From every defilement the Word is pure. What God tells us about ourselves is pure. What God says he's going to do for us. We're not to think on tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of the things of itself. Being able to go to God spiritually go to God, talk to God, work with God, hear from God. All those things are given unto us and they didn't have them in the Old Testament. They didn't have that opportunity. You are righteous the minute you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, it's no longer about the law. Where do you put your mind? Where do you part? Put your heart as a man thinketh he is. I want to jump down to verse 11. Not that I speak in respect of want. For I have learned that whatsoever state I am therewith to be sufficient in what it says, content. That's actually not the word. It's sufficient in one's oneself needing no aid. You have all things right now. Not that I speak in respect of one. Because there, wherever I am in life, I know God is supplying my need. I was also listening to something. I was talking about praying how that before, like you prayed for need. But. But God said he's going to take care of all of our needs all the time. So now it's more of a prayer of thanksgiving, which it talks about up here in. In verse 6. Be anxious for not one thing, but in everything. By prayers to God and supplication, which are prayers of personal need. With thanksgiving. Let your request be thank you God for taking care of that situation. Thank you God for taking care of what's going on today. I mean, I've got stuff going on today I got to take care of that I'm not looking forward to at all. Need direction for God is with you. That's what the whole point Christ dying is about. [00:04:56] Speaker B: His Son. [00:04:58] Speaker A: Pray those big prayers today. Pray the small prayers. When you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ again with that sacrifice of thanksgiving. Thank him for what he's doing for you and what he's going to do. Have a phenomenal day today. God bless you and your family. [00:05:14] Speaker B: I'll talk to you tomorrow. [00:05:23] Speaker A: Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much [00:05:25] Speaker B: for everything you do for us and how you do it. I thank you for those that work the Word and research the Word. I'm very, very grateful for all that. I thank you for today that you [00:05:34] Speaker A: just guide us and show us exactly what to do in each and every situation. [00:05:37] Speaker B: I thank you for the moments of my life. I ask you for just an understanding [00:05:42] Speaker A: of equity and just to change my [00:05:46] Speaker B: mind and to get to the point where it's. Where it's consistent. I thank you again for just everything you do for us and how you do it and the way you work and for a great day. I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior Christ Jesus.
