[00:00:01] Speaker A: Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, but youtiful day?
[00:00:06] Speaker B: I hope you're having a great day.
[00:00:07] Speaker A: Today and I hope you are excited today. Today is the day that the Lord hath made. We will be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful, be happy, continually give God that sacrifice of praise. Praise him and thank him and be joyful.
Last couple days I was going or last couple weeks I've been going over the love of God and I was describing why, for me, it's always been reverential all with God. So when I read the Word, I always read it through that prism. Now when I was growing up, and it's interesting because if you read in the Old Testament, you go through Solomon. His heart was to just be able to, to.
[00:00:46] Speaker B: To.
[00:00:47] Speaker A: To judge the people of Israel that God had given him. Essentially he was, he was the king and he, therefore he judged all the people.
But my big thing was being intelligent, quote unquote, which I kind of, you know, I look back on now, kind of freaks me out a bit, but that's what my heart was. And when I read this, so wisdom was a big deal to me. And when I read this and started reading Proverbs, it just, I don't know, it changed my whole life. And then, and then that's where I really got into the reverential awe of God. Right? And if you go to chapter one of Proverbs, verse seven, it says, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. To have reverential awe, that fear is reverential. To have reverential awe of God is the beginning of knowledge. If you want to have knowledge in anything, it starts from reverence of God. Let's say you want to be a great musician, you go to God, you have reverence with God. He knows your heart and he will walk you through it. I know I've been talking about wanting to be a great golfer. It's important to me to be a great golfer. I have no idea why, but it is. And this been, you know, seven years of absolute struggle. It's been terrible. But I have a confidence knowing that God is going to walk me through the place. And this is something dumb like golf. He's going to walk me through to get me to the point where I will be a great golfer.
But it's just the little things like that. I don't know what you're dealing with, with your life. It Might be a job, it might be anything. God. You start with God, that reverence towards God. If you go to Proverbs, chapter 9, verse 10, it says the reverential awe of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding the fear. That reverential awe is the beginning of wisdom. If you're looking to be smart in anything, if you're looking to be able to apply knowledge the correct way, you go to God, you ask God, you have reverence for God, knowing that he is going to bring you to the place where you want to go.
It starts with God. If you jump over. And if you go to the fear. If you look up the fear of the Lord in like blue letter by. It adds like a ton of this stuff. This was why it's so beautiful. But if you go to Proverbs, chapter 14, verse 26, it says the fear of the Lord or the reverential awe of the Lord is strong confidence. That strong confidence is mighty confidence. Mighty trust, mighty insurance. When you start to go to God and you have that reverence towards God, you're going to have mighty assurance and trust in your life. Mighty confidence. If you lack confidence, it starts with having reverence towards God.
It's just so. I mean, he's just so wonderful. He takes care of us and it's. It's just through loving him and going to Him. If you go to Psalms chapter 115, verse 13, he says he will bless them that have reverential awe for the Lord, both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more. And your children, Are you worried about your children?
You have reverential awe towards God. You fear God. You have that reverence towards him and you don't. There is nothing to fear. There is nothing to fear in this world.
Nothing but the beginning that he's gonna bless those that just look towards him and ask him and love him.
I want to finish up with this. If you go to Proverbs or Psalms chapter 114, verse 11, this is a big one too, because I think a lot of people walk through life being fearful that they're not doing what God wants them to do. Right?
Verse 1:47, verse 11, verse the Lord taketh pleasure in them that has reverential all towards them, him and those that hope. In his active compassion, those that have the expectation of future good. In his active compassion, he's going to. He takes pleasure in his children just knowing that they. That he's going to take care of them. He takes pleasure in that in your life, you got to start to focus on the thing that matters in life and not on the distractions of this life.
Because through God is strong confidence and assurance.
Through God is wisdom to apply knowledge properly.
It's all looking towards God and knowing his Word and knowing he loves you and knowing his son died that you can have that relationship with him without fear of doing something wrong.
That's what it's about in life. Start to look to God. Have a beautiful day today. Pray the big prayers. Lift everything up in the name of Jesus Christ. God bless you and your family. And I'll talk to you tomorrow.
Well, Heavenly Father, thank you so much. I just.
[00:05:59] Speaker B: I thank you for the teachings I've been listening to and just the newness of your Word every day. I thank you that you constantly just bring that assurance towards my life and get me back on track to think on the right things and to be settled on the things that actually help. And I thank you for your believers today. I just pray that you take care of them and that you bless them and any type of anxiety that's on their heart, that you show them what to do about it. And again, I thank you for your son, that he died for us, that we can live this life. And I pray for this year and the next year that we can continue to increase and grow and be bountiful. Father, I just thank you for everything you do for me and my family, and I lift everything up to you in the name of my Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
