[00:00:01] Good morning. Good morning. How are you on this fine, fine, beautiful day? Hope you're having a great day today. I hope you are excited today because today is the day the Lord hath made. We'll be glad. We will rejoice in it. Rejoice in every single moment that you have under the sun in this cosmos, in this arrangement. Be thankful. Be happy. Continually give God that sacrifice. Praise. Praise him and thank him.
[00:00:23] I'm running around. I got. I have so much stuff to do before I leave. I'm gonna be gone next week for a week, so I'm not going to be sending these out, but it is just go, go, go, go, go in my world. And I'm trying to. Trying to keep it together, but I was just reading this this morning. This blessed me and I wanted to pass it on. If you go to second Thessalonians, chapter two, verse.
[00:00:48] Let's do verse 13. It says, but we are bound or under obligation to give thanks always to God for you, brethren, beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chose you to salvation or safety, the sanctification of the Holy Spirit and the belief of the truth. And that that sanctification is to be set in a state corresponding to God's nature. Once you believe in the name of Jesus Christ, you are set in that state. You have Holy Spirit, that power from on High. Verse 14. Whereunto he called you by our Gospel to the obtaining or unto the acquiring of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand fast or stand firm and hold the traditions which we ye have been taught, whether by word or by our epistle.
[00:01:37] I mean, there's so much stuff in here. When you really start reading this, the fact that we're born righteous, stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made you free. And be not entangled again with the weight or the yoke of bondage or servitude to the law.
[00:01:51] Romans 10, 9 and 10. That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart, man believeth unto righteousness. With the heart, confession is made unto safety, salvation or preservation, all these things you're to stand in. And this word of God which is written by holy men as they were moved by the Holy Spirit, this word of God stands firm.
[00:02:14] And he's just saying, stick to it.
[00:02:17] Stick to the things which ye have been taught.
[00:02:20] Verse 16. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, which loved us and hath gave us or hath given us an everlasting consolation or an everlasting calling and good hope through grace, comfort, or speak to your hearts and establish you in every good word or work.
[00:02:41] I just love the fact that God talks to you, that God talks to your heart, the seat of your distinctive character. Especially when you read the Word, you'll know exactly what it is because it hits you.
[00:02:52] You'll be going through something and it'll hit you. Like right now, I have so much to do before I leave. I'm trying not to spin out. And then yesterday something happened that just added another, you know, six to 10 hours worth of work.
[00:03:06] It's like you got to renew and renovate your thoughts, be comforted by God. Know that God's going to take care of this situation. Give him every single thing that's going on in your life and let him work knowing that it's on his timetable. It's his season. He decides the time.
[00:03:23] Verse or chapter three, Verse one. Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord may run or have free course and be glorified even as it is with you. And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men. For all have not faith.
[00:03:39] I mean, enormous mistake over the last couple months, like a big, big time mistake. And just knowing that God's going to cover it and also that God's going to split the silence, those that are unreasonable and wicked men. I mean, what happened is outrageous, but God's going to take care of it. He'll put even your enemies, he'll silence even your enemies. Verse 3. But Christ is faithful who shall speak to or establish you and guard you from evil or the wicked one. And we have confidence in the Lord as touching you, that you both will do the things, or that you both do and will do the things which we command you. Finally, chapter three, verse five. And the Lord direct, and this is the Christ direct or guide your hearts unto the love of God and into the patience as waiting of Christ.
[00:04:33] That love of God, it casteth out fear, because fear hath torment. God is love.
[00:04:38] And we're rooted and grounded in love.
[00:04:41] Now, I love thinking about that. Because if you think about a tree next to water, when it takes root, man it goes. And it's the same thing with you. When you take root next to God in the sense of reading His Word and putting this stuff on and renewing and renovating your mind and walking, setting your course of life in the spiritual nature, you'll understand what this means.
[00:05:01] God will comfort and speak to your heart and will take care of you in each and every situation.
[00:05:08] Pray the big prayers today. Pray the small prayers. But when you pray, you always pray to God, never to Jesus Christ. You pray to God. Lifting it up in the name of Jesus Christ. Have a great day. God bless you and your family. I'll talk to you tomorrow.
[00:05:23] FOGHORN BLOWS I will be coming home.
[00:05:29] Well, Heavenly Father, thank you for everything you do for us. I ask that you guide my steps this week and just get everything done, and it needs to get done, that there's a little pressure removed, and then once it's over, it's over and I can go on this trip and not think about it again. I thank you for the moments of my life, the little ones, the big ones, and just for my family, how wonderful they really are. And I pray for healing 100% with my brother, his hand and his ankle and his brain. And again, I thank you for just the moments of my life and for the little things that you've just put in it. I lift up a great day to you. In the name my Lord and savior, Christ Jesus.
